First impression not the greatest., But everybody has a bad day. In the end he resolved the matter and in a favorable resolution. I would retain him as council again.

Awesome attorney family

I was in the process of calling several attorneys and, per the advice of my uncle who is a practicing criminal attorney, I asked every potential lawyer a series of questions (5-10 short answer questions). Ex: "Have you ever been disciplined by a state licensing authority?" I could tell that my questions made DePersia very uncomfortable and he would avoid answering my simple questions and change the subject. He primarily focused on saying denigrating things about another attorney I had consulted with rather than discussing his expertise and experience. However, when I told him that I had found myself entirely unsatisfied with the public defender the court had assigned me, he said that he was not a fan of people that "spoke ill of other attorneys" (hypocritical much?) and that we wouldn't make a good fit. My uncle told me not to respond to mailers from attorneys since the best attorneys get so much work from referrals and from their reputation that they do not need to advertise. He was right. TLDR: 1. Avoided simple questions like, "how many DUI cases have you plea bargained in the last month? how many cases did you get dismissed." Answer: "Oh, I don't know, I deal with 20 cases per week, it's too hard to remember." He was always very rude and I have read several other reviews saying the same thing. He seems to have a contempt for his clients that I have never come across before. He also came across very conceited and full of himself despite not being able to answer simple questions. Do yourself a favor, go online, and research the best DUI attorneys in the state of NJ. Then ask them 5-10 important questions. If they are unwilling to answer the questions, it means they are embarrassed by the answers. Don't respond to mailers. Don't go with DePersia.

Brian represented me and my girlfriend perfectly in our landlord/tenant matter. He was a straight up, easy to talk to attorney and most importantly knew the law. Brian helped us break our lease and get out of the terrible apartment we were in. We also got our security deposit back. For me and my girlfriend it was a stressful endeavor but Brian knew what he was doing and even though I constantly emailed him and asked for updates, he was never once annoyed and was able to give us peace of mind throughout the process. I called yesterday, I was told by the lady ont the phone to message Mr. Reagan. I messaged him via a option on his website. I recieved no reply back. The Lady was nice.

My wife and I paid Mr. Reagan 450.00 in February of 2018 to help us with a landlord tenant matter. We dropped off to his office and emailed him all of the documents he asked for and we waited to hear back from him. After 2 months passed and not hearing anything from him or his office we reached out to him to follow up. He asked the same questions he asked during our first conversation. We answered them again, and after that we still haven’t heard anything from him. It’s been 6 months and no correspondence. We feel like we’ve been scammed or ripped off.
