Richard DeVita was recommended to me to effect a short sale after an apartment I had owned in New Jersey and vacated in 2010 had been sold on several times to different loan companies that had refused to foreclose or agree a DIL and were charging excessive fees. He resolved the issues quickly and effectively and the sale was finally closed today. I echo the review by Deborah on this website.

Richard was my lawyer for a home short sale. He was chosen for me by my realtor because my lawyer was unable to do the job. Richard was very thorough through out the whole process. All documents were sent to me when he received them and he processed all aspects of the sale in a timely manner. He was given power of attorney to contact the mortgage company and he apprised me of all communications as I needed to know them. I was nervous about the whole process of the short sale, but Richard was always able to calm my fears with information that he would get for me after I questioned him. He was very easy to work with and I would use him again if needed.

Richard is a great attorney to hire. Not only does he have great personality and high professionalism, he is also tremendously patient and devoted towards his client. He will try to answer all my questions on a timely manner so that I could feel comfortable about every move with my first home purchase.
