Used for mediation. She bragged that she was on council that rejected assumed equal joint custody for fathers in NJ when I was fighting for joint custody. Tried to push me to accept very one sided custody arrangement. Felt like she was adversary attorney rather than neutral mediator. Seems like se is biased against fathers.

MaryAnn Bauer is a biased parenting coordinator. I question her fairness and her ethics. She will carry out many filler meetings to clock in more hours. Four out of five co-parenting issues were articulated structurally to draw excuses for the faults of my adversary. She and my adversary contacted the school without my consent to put a problem with my son's grades because my adversary had already disenrolled our son from remote learning during COVID. My son is an average A to B student. He was distraught that he threatened to fail all classes because he was removed from remote learning. At the same time, all of his peers remained remote. I had to get my lawyer to intervene, and my son was restored to remote learning. MaryAnn could not come up with a valid support for my adversary for denying me the chance to have dinner with my son on his birthday. My adversary was out of state on my son's birthday; the children were left with their grandparents. I formally asked MaryAnn to resign, but she refused, so I am stuck with her unless I pay for a motion to remove her.

We used her as a mediator. She failed to disclose her personal relationship with opposing counsel and I felt she was supporting the other lawyer. Poor at mediation.

Absolutely best family lawyer you'll find. Not to mention over all great people. Made the experience tolerable and always had me and the kids best interest in mind. Not worried about money like most lawyers. Kept me out of court and I kept what was rightfully mine. I would give her ten stars if I could! You won't be disappointed !

I used her for a prenuptial agreement. My husband used another attorney that she recommended. She is very professional, quick to answer emails/calls, extremely knowledgeable, make sure you understand your rights and will go to bat for you and only you in these agreements.

The entire experience was incredible! Maryann and her receptionist are simply two of the kindest, caring And nonjudgmental human beings I have ever met! The office is beautiful , relaxing and it was a very peaceful and pleasant experience! I know for myself and the reasons that I was there , to say the least it was a very sad and trying time in my life. If we had to do it all over again, it would be with Steven Karch. Mr. Karch represented my son for his very ugly divorce and myself for criminal charges related to this exceptionally nasty matrimonial situation. Many can know the letter of the law. Few seem to be able to steer clients safely past the shoals of disaster as effectively as Mr. Karch. Do not be deceived by his calm demeanor. He is a consummate negotiator, and very adept at keeping the appropriate focus for the situation in the face of terrible emotional upheaval. He does not promise pie in the sky, but very methodically sets forth actions and outcomes, then dispassionately counsels clients, keeping inflamed emotions out of the business equation. With Steven Karch's wise counsel, my son and I survived this awful experience relatively intact, and we have made a permanent trusting association with Mr. Karch for all our legal work going forward.

Working with Mr. Karch was an absolute pleasure. He was extremely patient, kind, supportive, knowledgeable, and kept us informed every step of the way. His response time was extremely quick, and he was exceptionally thorough. There were absolutely no surprises at any point during the process. If you need a lawyer, chances are you are already under some degree of stress. Aside from his legal knowledge, Mr. Karch alleviated so much of our stress by being a genuinely kind human being. I would recommend his services to anyone.

Steven handled a straight-forward divorce for me. Straight-forward to a lawyer, perhaps, but not to me. Nevertheless, Steven and the staff at the Rotolo Law Firm made what had the potential to be a tortuous and painful situation for me into a straight-forward process. He pointed out the dangers, and laid out the pros and cons of options without pushing one decision over another. And though I know my case probably wasn't the be-all and end-all for him, I never once felt as if it didn’t receive all necessary care and due diligence.

Mr. Karch was extremely helpful handling our legal situation. Even as things changed midway through, nothing fazed him and he helped us get what was best for our family. I could never thank him enough for the job he did.
