Hired Gary Garland many years ago to represent a major conflict with family. Garland took our money, never returned calls and made zero effort to help resolve issues. When he found out who the competing law firm was resigned our account. Or put another way "afraid" of the competition.

The Garland Law firm was recommended to us by a friend and we would recommend them to others without hesitation. Gary and his staff were invaluable in taking care of all legal aspects of a Medicaid application and an irrevocable trust for our relative. We could have never been able to handle these matters on our own. They were very professional and responsive.

He is amazing! I definitely recommend him! He was so nice and caring for myself and my family. I don’t have a single complaint about Gary of his team. He is an educated and well rounded guy, who was overall a great help us all. I recommend him to everyone as he made this process easier and less hard for me.

My family and I couldn't be more pleased with our decision to hire Garland Law when my mother became sick. She had to enter a long-term care facility and we had no idea where to begin. The social workers on staff were extremely helpful and made us feel like we made the right decision. They even check up on her every so often to make sure she is being taken care of (although the facility they recommended treats her wonderfully). We appreciate the relationship they built with us and their tentativeness.

If you are looking for a full-of-himself attorney with a nasty attitude, Gary is the guy for you. Following an initial friendly conference call about possibly setting up a revocable Trust for me and my wife, I had an additional question and called the office the next day. Garry was unreachable. The preferred communication mode for this law office is through the receptionist. I had a very simple question about yearly charges for maintaining the trust. This was a binary question and I expected a “Yes” or a “NO” answer. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get a straight answer. The analogy the office was using was that maintaining a trust is like maintaining a backup generator… After insisting to the receptionist that I wanted to talk to the lawyer himself, I received a nasty phone call from Gary. He informed me that in the future, if I wanted to personally talk to him, he will charge me by the hour.

After researching lawyers, We were very impressed with the team at Garland Law. We received excellent customer service and assistance where we didn’t even know we needed assistance. Our family feels protected and prepared and most importantly we have peace of mind. A one stop shop for elder law and estate planning.

We met with Gary and his Elder Care Coordinator at the recommendation of the memory care community that we just moved mom into. Our family needed guidance and help with finding ways to pay for moms care while keeping dad at home. Garys legal expertise made us very comfortable and his staff were all very nice. His firm made an overwhelming experience bearable.

Gary Garland is an incredible resource for anyone who is the care giver to a loved one. Being a care giver comes naturally in any family dynamic, however this act of care does come with certain legal requirements that can come be confusing cumbersome and costly if not addressed properly. Gary and his team handle all facets of this process. Until meeting Garland team I did not know that a true eldelaw attorney staffs a Social Worker and Medicaid Specialist in house. My brother is a disabled and mentally challenged adult and I am now his POA, thanks to the Garland Firm.

Gary Garland put my family at ease when we had to do some estate planning. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable, organized and trustworthy and was able to explain everything in language a layperson could understand. I would recommend him to anyone and would use him again in a heartbeat.
