2023 Update. I contacted Bruce Levitt several years after my initial filing to ask for help with avoiding the lien on my house. He remembered all of the details of my case and agreed to to assist me. It was obviously important to me, but definitely not a meaningful financial opportunity to him. Nonetheless, he professionally prepared the necessary filings and a short time later I received the judgment to cancel the lien! I feel fortunate that I found this firm years ago and received assistance from them even years later. Original 2020 Post. They Know What They Are Doing - The Best by Far. I retained Bruce Levitt and Shelley Slafkes to represent me in filing Chapter 7 in 2020. I had spoken with multiple other law firms before selecting them. Bruce and Shelley were clearly the best by far. Because they had so much consumer bankruptcy experience, including on the other side of the table as a trustee, they knew what mattered and how things actually worked in practice. They also had solid integrity and ethics and made me feel confident that they were acting in my best interest. Although I know they must have had many cases at the same time they represented me, they always made me feel like I was a real person dealing with a weighty situation and that my case was important to them. I received a discharge with no drama. They guided me the entire way and I never felt abandoned. I give Bruce and Shelley my strongest endorsement and I feel very fortunate to have found them.

I went through a divorce 2 years ago, which left me in a poor financial position. They made the process feel quick and painless, and did a great job of coaching me through it.. answering any/all questions and not pressuring me at any point of the process. They are very professional, down to earth, and give very good guidance through this difficult decision. If you've decided to file, look no further than this firm. You are in good hands.
