It was truly an honor to have Attorney James M. Clancy to represent me with my Workman's Comp Injury that I sustained at my work place. Once I was introduced to his law firm and contacted Mr. Clancy he immediated setup a consultation meeting with me to go over the injury that occured on my job. He immediately started the ball rolling by instructing me on each step that I had to take to get my injury taken care of as soon as possible. He directed me to a doctor that would examine the injury and make sure I would get the proper treatment, to which surgery was needed to help correct the problem I was having. Everytime I needed to talk to him, he made himself available to me. If he wasn't available when I called he would make sure to return my call if I had any concerns. We shared information constantly. Everytime I had a doctor appointment, surgery that was needed, various treatments or therapy it was documented for my lawsuit. He handled my case very professionally and made sured he kept me informed about how everything was going with my case. He fought hard to get me compensation for my pain and suffering not once but twice after my case was reopened do to continued suffering from my injury. Since this was the first time I had the need for an attorney I was unaware how long cases like mine usually take. Because of my anxiety dealing with my injury, I called him frequently without any response. However, he did handle my case quite well and I highly recommend him. My only recommendation would be to have a paralegal, or even a secretary that could answer basic questions. i.e: 'he's working on it', 'your case is still active',or any number of things that would calm someone like myself.

I met Jim purely by accident, despite the initial bad luck of getting hurt at work things turned around when I walked into his office. I was leaving a doctor appointment and decided to stop in to see what my rights were after getting hurt on the job. Jim explained what would happen as my treatment wound down, how the permanency aspects of the claim worked and how he could get it resolved once I was done treating. Be forewarned, Jim is loud, talks a lot, and talks fast. About a year after I was hurt , I finished treating for my back surgery and things were still not improving. I continued to have other medical issues related to my spine. Jim talked me through how to handle conversations with my surgeon and convinced the insurance carrier to start my temporary disability again when I needed another surgery. The permanency aspect of my case was resolved today in a very quick fashion. Jim explained the pros and cons of going to trial versus settling and we ultimately decided to settle the case rather than risk an uncertain result. Jim protected my rights, fought to make sure I got everything I was entitled to and then got my case settled quickly for a great amount. I have and will continue to refer all my friends to him.
