Genevieve Blazini is a wonderful individual, She was kind and understanding; while also being effective in dealing with my case. What I like about her was that she didn't sugar coat things, even if I didn't want to hear it. Which is frustrating at the time but ultimately helps you plan for the inevitable. Divorce with children is terrible, especially when you have a difficult ex. She made it real by being honest with me which ultimately made the process a lot smoother. I would recommend her to anybody and would certainly use her again. Although, I really hope not to.

I want to start off this review with saying, “I NEVER EVER WRITE REVIEWS!” I can assure you, I am here for a reason, and that is to take time out of my busy schedule to write a review that must be read. I have had a long hard fought battle with the mother of my son. Unfortunately, she does not believe in coparenting in a civil manner. I have had awful lawyers get me nowhere before. It felt unfair because my son’s mother kept getting away with breaking the rules and was relentless at trying to push me out of his life. In a world full of villains, there are superheroes like Genevieve ready to help. She is intelligent, understanding and gives expertise advice. She has handled my case with such brilliance and there has been so much progress in our time working together. In a recent court case, it was satisfying watching such a SAVAGE go to work for you. People in the court room asked for her card knowing she was excellent at what she does. You could tell she felt what I was going through and wanted justice. After attempts to move far away, they have been denied twice! My son’s happiness shows when he gets equal time with his family. I can’t thank Genevieve enough and I’m glad I have all this time with my son. I thought I could use cheaper lawyers to get me through this, but you get what you pay for. Genevieve is worth every penny.

Restraining Order to Divorce Settlement : I would like to express my sincere thanks to my lawyer Genevieve who showed a deep understanding of my personal situation and demonstrated empathy throughout the legal process. Right from the beginning of this case, I was advised step by step from getting Restraining Order to finalizing my Divorce. She genuinely care about achieving a positive outcome for me, she also is available to answer your questions and keep you informed of the status of the matter on a consistent basis. I feel I must put pen to paper for anyone who is looking for an Attorney and reads this. I, without hesitation, recommend Marissa L. Messinger, Esq of Bergen Law in Maywood, NJ. In my case, I had called and spoke with 5 Attorneys in the field of Senior issues (at the time my Aunt was having dementia issues and required help). Only 1 even offered any advice at all. Marissa, on the other hand, recognized my plight and took on my case. She has a "cup half full" attitude and took us through medical for my Aunt, then into Guardianship, and when my Aunt passed, took us through Estate Administratorship, ending in the final disbursement of assets. Ours was not a simple case - many missing parts, complex parts, and if that wasn't enough, our case began at the beginning of the Covid pandemic. It was a full 4-year journey with many ups and downs. But through it all, Marissa remained upbeat, informative, we communicated regularly, and I could call her anytime and she'd respond. This is my first experience with an Attorney and I must say Marissa's attitude, personality, knowledge, and experience made this difficult journey as good as it could have been. For these reasons, she gets my "5 Star Rating".

My divorce was not an easy one by any means. The other party did not want to be a participate in the process that she initiated, be fair financially, and was in character throughout the two and half yr process. Jason was recommended by a friend in the legal profession. Jason started the process by trying to avoid getting heavily involved by advising me to mediate with my ex from minute one which is the smart fiscal way to go. Jason honestly explained that; however after that was not viable, he did everything professional needed to get the divorce process going by attempting to mediate with the other side. Jason also advised me with the steps needed after it was obvious the other side was not operating in good faith(7 months in I was forced to file for divorce after the person who unilaterally initiated it did not do it for financial reasons) Jason was great at organizing the large amounts of paperwork needed to negotiate/mediate fairly; which included preparing me for ESP/Mediation and the multiple motions filed by the other party. Jason's biggest attribute is being available at all times, attempting to understand everything on a personal/emotional level as well beyond the business aspect of divorce, and always trying to end the process quickly to help with financial costs/burden. Unfortunately, this was not able to be done in my case after numerous and fair offers so Jason was noble enough to refer my case to a colleague in the county of NJ where the divorce was occuring. That was extremely genuine. He and his associate Tyler did everything they could to settle my case. Both are extremely knowledgeable of the NJ laws of divorce which is so important. Jason is professional and great at explaining things/answering questions. In divorce, no one wins or loses. My JOD was fair and equitable at the end of the day which is what should have happened. Five star review.
