I was referred to go talk to Joseph Murphy by a buddy of mine. I went in for a consult about my divorce and he was extremely nice and professional. He gave me all my options and told me how it was going to work. Bud answered any questions I had and he made the process as quick and painless as he could. He was always available if I had a problem or a question that I needed handled. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that needs an attorney.

Joseph "Bud" Murphy is an excellent lawyer. He has his clients best interest in mind, he is fair, empathetic, and honest. He is very knowledgable in Family Law and helped me with my Divorce for which I was blindsided with, after 20 years of marraige. Joseph will fight for what is right and within the law. He pays attention to details, and can write a legal document extremely well and to the point. He has gone above and beyond on several occassions for me as well. Hired Ms. Cistaro to help me with a custody issue involving my daughter's mother and a potentially worrisome situation. She is incredibly smart and was instrumental in making sure my concerns were voiced to the Court and my daughter was kept safe. I could not have done what I did without her as I had tried in the past before and it is a very good feeling to have her in your corner when you're faced with these kinds of issues. Would recommend her to anyone for help with their family law issue. Being a single father who is PPR is hard enough in the court system but Ms. Cistaro made me feel like I was truly heard.

I met Patricia Cistaro when she was a senior associate attorney working for a large family law practice in New Jersey. During my initial consultation with Patricia, she advised me of the requirements to support a viable alimony modification case. I was impressed with her expertise and candidness, so when I felt it was the right time to petition the courts for alimony modification, I sought out Patricia and found that she had started her own practice. I engaged Patricia to represent me in a motion to modify or terminate my alimony obligation due to a significant change in circumstances, my approaching retirement age, and my ex-wife’s suspected cohabitation. Patricia provided valuable guidance to me with regard to obtaining evidence and providing documentation that I needed to support my case. She communicated with my ex-wife and espoused the benefits of trying to reach an agreement of modification without the necessity of filing a costly motion. Patricia communicated to my ex-wife the date we intended to file a motion with the court if we were unable to negotiate a modification. Just before the expiration of the deadline, my ex-wife gave notice of her imminent marriage and shortly thereafter signed a Consent Order that officially terminated my alimony obligation. During Patricia’s engagement, I received “big” firm legal expertise and experience, but with a comfortable “small” firm closeness. Hopefully, I will never need to engage the services of a family law attorney again, but if I did, I would hire Patricia Cistaro without reservation.
