I had an extremely disappointing experience with Jim regarding a family law lawyer. His communication skills were abysmal, making it incredibly frustrating to get updates on my case. Despite numerous attempts to contact them, I faced consistent roadblocks, and my concerns were often ignored. To make matters worse, the results of his representation were nothing short of horrible. I had expected a certain level of expertise in family law matters, but unfortunately, the outcome was far from satisfactory. Adding to the frustration, I was denied any form of refund despite the lackluster service and poor results. It's disheartening to see such a lack of accountability for subpar performance. As it was agreed upon in the retainer that he would no longer honor. What's even more concerning is that, after expressing my dissatisfaction, I found myself blocked from their contact number as my calls did not go through, my emails went unanswered and messages were undeliverable. This lack of professionalism and refusal to address concerns only added to the overall negative experience. I would strongly advise anyone considering Jim to proceed with caution and explore alternative options. My experience left much to be desired, and I hope others can make more informed decisions when seeking legal representation in family law matters. I wish I had known earlier that most of their google reviews are misleading and seem to be paid google reviews service and experience was nothing like what others had said in their google reviews.

if you want a lawyer that overpromises and underdelivered, lies, does not agree to change the wording of the agreement, does not change court dates, does not go beyond to put in the extra work to make sure the client gets the best results.... Jim is the best guy for that. I would be very cautious to hiring anyone from this place due to their unethical behavior, such as being fake business reviews for their google page, removing negative reviews and making it seem like they are a good place to hire a attorney, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

Jim, and his entire team, were an absolute pleasure to work with. He made our experience as first time home buyers a total breeze - explaining each step of the process, always there with quick responses when we had questions, both extremely thorough and extremely efficient. Highly recommend!

I have to say that my experience with Jim was incredibly disappointing. His lack of professionalism, poor communication, and ineffective representation made a stressful situation even worse. I cannot recommend their services to anyone seeking competent legal assistance. It’s better to deal with “cousin Vinny down the road” than dealing and paying a 5,000 retainer to Jim. The matter of fact is Jim, will never have you best interest at heart but rather cares more about pleasing the other party, while cohering you onto an unjust and regrettable agreement that you will later regret. Due to the fact that he refused to move my court date, he sent the agreement the night before my court date and emails it to me at 11pm, the night before court date which was emailed to him at 4pm. I would highly, highly suggest to seek legal help from any other firm than deal with the headaches and regrettable agreement that Jim will force you to sign.

This was my first auto accident case. I'm so glad I found this firm. From the associates to the attorneys, everyone was very knowledgeable and professional. Updates were provided in a timely and efficient manner, I never had to call and fish for information! I must mention attorney Mike Cuellar as he was most helpful and key in resolving my case in an expeditious and favorable manner. He's a real winner in my books. In actuality, Jim will never act in your best interests; instead, he is more concerned in winning over the other side and pressuring you into signing an unfair and unpleasant contract that you will come to regret. He sent the agreement the night before my court date and sent it to me at 11 p.m. that same night since he wouldn't move my court date.

Important choices were made without giving enough thought to the specifics of my situation or the results I wanted. It was clear that they were more concerned with finding a quick fix than giving the basic issues that mattered to my family and myself top priority. It was upsetting as well as disturbing that he refused to participate in thoughtful conversations or take into account different approaches. There was a lack of communication, and attempts to agree on important issues were met with hostility.

If looking for a defense attorney in the New Jersey area Michael Cuellar is the guy. The whole team at Spector Foerst & Associates are professional and very responsive through out your whole process. Michael Cuellar is a go getter, whatever has to be done he does his absolute best, for your best interest, to make each step quick and easy. Being that I am out of state all of our communication was via phone calls. I was kept in the loop throughout the long process with clear explanation on what is happening next.
