Omar Lopez, is a knowledgeable, professional and dependable attorney. When I went to my first conference with Omar he was a great listener. He told me up front what I needed to know concerning my employment case.

Omar A. Lopez is a fantastic attorney. He always gives the best advice. I suffered for two years in a hostile work environment and was able to keep my job and stop my harasser when management was hoping to fire me because I complained about unfair and unethical workplace practices . This gave me a chance to find another job and keep my good employee records. I was never as upset as I was dealing with that horrible workplace and Mr. Lopez was there when I needed him for morale support. I could have taken the easy way out and quit or let them continue to harass me but I am glad I had Mr. Lopez’ help. I 100% recommend him. I had been wrongfully denied unemployment benefits after being laid off from my full time employment in January 2012. I thought this was a simple misunderstanding and tried contacting the State Unemployment office on my own. No one that I spoke to at the unemployment office seemed to care about my situation and told me the only option I had was to appeal the decision. I appealed the decision on my own, again thinking this was a simple misunderstanding and a quick phone conversation with a competent decision-maker would clear things up. Mind you, this process takes several months. When I finally spoke to an appeals examiner on the phone, I found her to be rude, not willing to listen, and treated me like a prosecutor questioning a defendant. I had been made to feel like dirt for trying to claim my benefits after working full time for the last 20+ years without any previous unemployment claim. Eventually, the appeals examiner denied my claim based on her perversion of the facts. I decided to hire an attorney. Omar's name came up while I was asking for referrals from my friends. My friends did not steer me wrong. Omar was very understanding, cool and calm. He exuded a quiet confidence that immediately put me at ease. He seemed to take my case personally but handled himself in a very professional manner at all times. He gathered the facts, assessed my situation, and gave me a realistic assessment of my chances of winning a 2nd appeal. I hired him on the spot and slept like a baby every night since. Although the process was tedious and took a ridiculous amount of time for someone who has no income (no fault of my attorney), I eventually won my appeal 12 months after I was initially laid off. Omar is bright, compassionate, and professional. I would hire him again and I recommend him to all of my friends. I could not have asked for better representation. Of note, I wanted to give Omar a 5-star rating, but the website will not allow me to do so.

I can not begin to tell you about how incredible my experience with Mr. Lopez has been.
