This is one case where social media worked well. I attended a free informational session on zoom that was offered in a Facebook advertisement. That ad, in so many words, talked about the importance of having a living will for your legal and medical final wishes. I work in healthcare. I cannot tell you how many times I've seen or heard of families fighting over either their deceased love ones belongings or end of life care of their loved ones. We didn't want our family to go through that. Enter Russ and his team. They made the process of formulating a living will and durable power of attorney, for our legal as well as medical final decisions, quick and easy. Mostly done through a few phone calls and emails. I highly recommend Russ and his team. Well worth the money!!!

Moving back home after my father passed away in 2019, there remained the matter of two vehicles, as well as other assets, willed to my father by a close friend, who had passed away a decade before. The close friend's grandson, after having liquidated all of the assets, refused to lift a finger to help my father transfer the titles of the vehicles, and then completely disappeared from the area. Determined to resolve this issue, I just so happened upon the name of Erwin Apell, the venerated local lawyer who prepared the original deed to our home back in the 1970's. Calling the firm, now Posternock Apell, they immediately took up our case, hiring a private investigator to track down the absentee grandson, then scheduling a hearing with the Surrogate Court to finally deal with the matter. Three years on, after the grandson was still unable to provide the court a copy of the original will, and our original lawyer on the case moved away from the firm, I lost all hope of this issue ever being resolved, until I received a call from Judith Schneider, the new attorney at Posternock Apell, who not only continued to work diligently on our case, but went well beyond the task by bolstering our belief that this matter could somehow be resolved. Well, lo and behold, I just picked up a copy of the original will from Posternock and Apell's new offices, and gratefully shook Judith's hand, in appreciation for all her efforts in bringing this matter to a final conclusion. We will definately be using the services of Posternock Apell again.
