I have hired John for a number of issues: 1) Detailed 2) Fair 3) Responsive 4) Cost Conscience We had to indemnify the company, client and personal parties (He informed us of the 148 rule). With that we won a counter claim, not expected. I would be more than happy to recommend him personally via email or phone if directed by his office.

I am a small business owner in Essex County; about a year ago I was need of legal help with a partner/ estate dispute. Things got really bad when I was served with what amounted to having me sidelined from the business I had spent many years building. Being very afraid of losing everything, I decided to find the best attorney regardless of the price –after meeting with NJ’s top law firms it was suggested to me that I meet with John Fialcowitz (a much smaller firm then those I had met with). It turned out to be one of the best decisions I made. John has worked wonders for me. He has been extremely diligent, attentive, and has provided excellent guidance. I am still running my business and I am very confident I will continue to as long as I want to. I will highly recommend without reservation John Fialcowitz. His Billing practice are more than Fair, always explain all possible outcome to me.

We are small business in NJ and we hired him for a contract related dispute based on our other attorney's recommendation but unfortunately we learn his true personality during the middle of trial. He comes across as a good human being and very knowledgeable but unfortunately he lacks will, skills, experience and knowledge to trial the case. We learned very late in the case his tactic of preparing the case in great detail and racking up the huge legal fee but settle the case at the last moment so he does not have to trial the case. If you disagree with him then he’ll literally bully you (two days before trial) to settle case otherwise he will ask the court to relieve him as our attorney. We asked him to settle case very early on when other party was ready to settle, he literally prevented us and start preparing for the trial; even during the trial preparation other party came to settle and we ask him to get the further terms of settlement few times but somehow he ignored our requests and continue on trial preparation (and continue billing the trial prep hours) but at the trial he is forcing us to settle the claim when we see the clear advantage over the other party. We always paid him in advanced and he always had our retainer money. May be his methodology is to get as much fee you in the preparation (make you believe that you are going go for the real trial) and (not to settle at earlier stage but) settle at the last moment irrespective of client’s loss or gain. Unfortunately, we really had very poor experience and regret that we could have done better homework before hiring him.

I had a case where I was being sued for not paying rent which never made it to litigation because response from my lawyer John were very strong right on point where other end dropped the case.
