Representation sucks for custody 0/10 would not recommend. Thinking about going to the news channel to discuss the unfairness of my case under this firm. They let my child’s mothers walk all over me.

I’m glad I chose to work with this firm. From the start, everyone treated me with such professionalism, respect and understanding. After meeting with Ms. Lauren, I felt relieved that we were able to come up with a plan, in a timely manner, that met my needs. After all was said and done, the outcome was even better than I expected! She found ways to help me save time and money. The whole team handled resolving my case with a sense of urgency and the communication was outstanding! I encourage anyone that needs Family Law representation to contact them. Lauren Hagovsky was amazing! When I started the process for divorce I was full of anxiety. That was soon gone when I started working with Lauren. She listened patiently as I described all the issues of my particular case. Then she took the bull by the horns and handled everything expertly, answered all my questions and researched diligently to address issues related to my military service, pension, and benefits. She jumped on every issue in a timely manner and advised me in detailed fashion at every turn. She made the process easy for me. Lauren has my highest recommendation!

Everything was handled at a high professional level. All aspects of divorce were explained every step of the way. I was never in any doubt that I was being represented properly and in a manner that suited my best interests. What I sought in a law firm was simple: professional aptitude, expediency, and reasonable cost. To this end, Cordell has met my expectations with the exception that I was a little surprised by the cost. My only complaint is that the attorney fee per hour increased once while in the middle of my divorce, and almost increased significantly a second time at the tail end of it. From the view of the client, the worst thing one can do is change attorney in the middle of a case, therefore the client feels a bit trapped to accept the increase. I'm sure this practice was covered in the legal fine print, but a client will always question whether something that can be done should actually be done. All this while hearing commercials on the radio regarding zero-fee initial consultations and overall cost cap from this firm, all benefits I was unable to benefit from since I was an existing client. My case was simple as far as divorces go, there was nothing to negotiate regarding children (I was told this is typically the most grueling and time consuming part of divorce cases), so the end cost was higher than I expected. That being said, I do not blame my attorney for the price increase, I'm quite sure it was a decision by the firm during inflationary times. My attorney was always professional, accommodating, understanding and knowledgeable, all the traits I was looking for in a divorce attorney. My attorney was the driving force that kept things moving along so that this entire process finishes sooner rather than later. I appreciate her efforts and I would highly recommend her to anyone that finds themselves in the unfortunate situation of divorce.
