I recently called Mr. Walters for help after a real estate transaction went horribly wrong resulting in seller refusing to return earnest deposit of $16,000. I contacted multiple real estate attorneys whom either didn’t return my call or saw my case as a lost cause. I contacted Mr. Walters as a last ditch effort to salvage my earnest deposit. Mr. Walters reviewed my purchase contract and stated I had a chance which gave me hope. I’m happy to report seller agreed to release earnest money with negotiations and effective language of the law by Mr. Walters. I received my check in the mail in FULL today. I hired Jeff to represent me as my attorney for purchasing a new Construction home from Ryan Homes. Jeff was superb from the very beginning and I highly recommend him. He started by reviewing our contract and made some proposed edits; after walking me through each of these edits, he sent them to Ryan Homes and worked directly with them to amend the contract. He paid for himself (and more) with these edits by amending certain areas of the contract to have the seller pay instead of the buyer. He was available constantly by email and phone as we went through the construction process and was very prompt in his responses. He helped me confirm the title company and provided me with his recommendations on companies and walked me through understanding the various intricacies of the process. Finally, on the day of closing Jeff gave me a thorough review of all the paperwork and walked me through each area that required my signature.
