I hired Richard to defend me against a traffic violation that was going to put points on my record and increase my insurance. From my first phone consultation, he was easy to talk to and understanding— two traits I didn’t expect. Richard actually went to the court for me on the day of my trial (I didn’t have to go) and represented me. He was able to reduce the charge and I was charged a fee, but didn’t receive any points on my license. I would hire Richard again in a heartbeat when (hopefully not though!) I needed to. I recommend him to everyone!! Great and so easy to work with.

I can't recommend this firm highly enough - I am SO glad I hired them to help me. Their rates were reasonable, so much so that they actually ended up being half what the fines and fees would potentially have been if I'd represented myself & plead guilty. I was really stressed over going to court for 3 tickets related to an auto accident - two 2-points tickets and one 0-points ticket. It was a complex case, and I dreaded pretty much any question I might have been asked...it just would have been difficult to explain without going into a long story, which I definitely did not want to do (I'm kind of shy anyway, and hate public speaking). I had seen the judge in action when I requested more time to find an attorney, and I could tell he was incredibly smart and perceptive. I wasn't looking forward to facing him in court and trying to explain a complicated situation that I quite frankly just wanted to forget. It was really scary, actually. But I needn't have worried. My attorney was amazing - he worked everything out with the prosecutor, who agreed to toss out the two 2-pt tickets if I plead guilty to the third, 0-pt ticket. It was quick and painless, and I didn't have to answer a single awkward question. The judge was very nice, and he even joked around a bit (I'm not sure if that was a by-product of having representation, but it certainly seemed that way.) I definitely felt safer having an attorney by my side, guiding me through the process. Thank you SO much! Words can't express how grateful I am to have had such a stressful experience go so smoothly, and turn out so well. You guys just rock. :)

Hired this law firm. To defend my so on 4 tickets and 1 find. The layer was awesome. Nothing but good things to say.. on time negotiated with the prosecutor. My walk out with just a $640.00 fine. The layer did his job and got my son. what we payed for and more.. highly recommend.. thank you.

This attorney had represented me multiple times. I have referred him to family and friends who all echo glowing remarks. He has gotten me full dismissals and drastically reduced on plea bargains. Prices are fair and he genuinely cares about his clients. Finally a lawyer who I can count on!

I hired Richard after receiving a failure to stop ticket in Highland Park when I crossed a yellow light and it turned red just milliseconds after I crossed. I'm a college student who does Uber and Lyft as my main income. I couldn't afford having the points on my record as too many points and tickets would increase the chance of me being deactivated as a driver as well as increasing my insurance premiums. Richard's staff took care of everything and on the day of court, his associate attorney got my 2 point ticket reduced to a no points and $89 fine ticket. I was expecting the Unsafe Driving $400+ ticket if this got reduced so Richard's staff actually surprised me by the result and exceeded my expectations. With his low flat fee and excellent service, I can't recommend him enough.

I was stopped by the local Police in Chester New Jersey on my way to New York State to go fly fishing. In addition to speeding as it turned out a surcharge notice had gone out that morning and I was on the revoked list also. The Police pretty much wrote me up for everything imaginable in the book. I consulted my normal business lawyer and he wanted $1,500.00 to go to Court and defend me. He actually recommended that I consider Mr. Huizenga as, to quote my business lawyer, "Huizenga does this type of work every day and he will definitely be cheaper and will probably get you a better result because all of the Prosecutor's know him and deal with him on a regular basis." I contacted Mr. Huizenga's Office and was charged $225.00 ($1,373 LESS than the original lawyer). When I went to Court we were in and out (apparently cases with lawyers are taken first) and I got "no points", pleading to one amended ticket for obstruction of traffic with an $89 fine. Other than the fact that I had to travel all the way back to Chester from Monmouth County (Chester is a town pretty much in the middle of no where) to resolve the case, I was able to save at least $1,000 and possible license revocation. I admit that I was initially skeptical that I would get such a good result for such an affordable legal fee, but results are results. Highly recommended.

Attentive, Knowledgeable and Professional!! I have hired different lawyers in the past. Working with Richard and his firm was truly awesome experience. I hired him to represent me in Bergen county. My job depended on the ticket getting dismissed. Needless to say Richard and his law partner got the ticket dismissed.
