Laura handled my divorce case really well; she's very smart, very responsive and produces great results. My divorce case got quite protracted due to my spouse's intransigence, but each step of the way, Laura's expertise shone through. In the end, her brilliant representations of my position produced what I think is a fair verdict, which could have quite easily been worse had she not been as capable in representing me. I think the service she provided is worth every cent I paid.

After meeting with several other divorce attorney’s I hired Laura immediately after our consultation. Laura has a very different way about her that is professional, compassionate and so reassuring. Laura does not use the “cookie cutter” divorce template that many other attorney’s use with their clients. Instead, she took the time to ask very specific questions about my family, assets and dynamics and was more than happy to answer my questions. She is knowledgeable and extremely diligent, she did not miss a beat despite being on maternity leave for part of the time she represented me. Laura was always on top of things with my case & kept me thoroughly informed. She even refunded to me my unused retainer at the end of my case. I felt that i could trust her with my sensitive issues.

Beware! This lawyer has lacks work ethic, almost had my case dismissed due to the fact that she never filed the paperwork (which she claimed she did). Changed law firms (previously Morales, Mendonca & Pagan, LLC) half way through and did not inform me until I received notice form the court of case dismissal (though she claims to have left a vm). Overcharged for hours she claimed she had worked though she did not communicate with me for 3 months. Arrived 1 hour late to the court and when the judge was reviewing the paperwork it had been prepared with the incorrect docket number. Look somewhere else, she is not worth the headache or trouble!!! The entire process for my divorce took 9 months, even though it was amicable and my ex husband agreed and signed everything without a lawyer!
