Out of all the attorneys I researched, Doug was by far the most personal and reasonably priced. In fact, Doug was the only attorney that was willing to meet me in person before my case, and he provided me with sound consultation. Knowing your way around the legal system can be confusing and even scary at times, so having an attorney like Doug by my side really gave me piece of mind. Doug aggressively defended me in court and I can't even begin to describe how pleased I am with the results. If your looking for quality representation, I highly recommend hiring Doug!

Mr. Herring is very professional and highly knowledgeable about law practice here in the U.S. . I am sure like every other lawyer , he must have a million things to attend to every day for his work in the field and then of course , like every person , at home. He still goes out of his way to make sure he gets what needs to be done actually completed for his clients. What he did for us .. words cannot substitute for how relieved we were afterwards and how thankful and grateful we were for his help . From what I have learned from him, he has extensive experience in many areas of law practices , not just one specific field. He is steps ahead in terms of planning and it really helps in getting one's situation resolved . He makes his clients feel comfortable and reduces their level of worry by really trying to understand through your lens and from your point of view . A traffic incident that was clearly not my fault resulted in FIVE tickets, some for moving violations that the cop was not even there to witness....Totally bogus!... (I think the cop was more inclined to believe the cute young chippy than the middle-aged white guy, despite the obvious course of events) ...Prosecutor would have let me plead it down, but still pay several hundred bucks...I wasn't about to roll over like a punk and see my insurance go up, so I decided to fight it...Went to court before my hearing just to see how things were run...Saw Doug, and concluded: "THIS is the tiger I want on my side"...Met with him, discussed the case, presented to him what I saw as all the shortcomings of the PD's case....Took 3 months for the prosecution to finally get their act together, but worth the wait....Doug just cleaned their clocks!....It's a situation I thought I'd never find myself in, generally being a law 'n order kind of guy, and so my respect for the integrity of our local constabulary has gone out the window. Should I find myself in a similar situation one day, Doug will be the first person I call.....Great job, Doug!....Many thanks!

Good lawyers are extremely hard to find. We all have problems researching the right lawyers who are extremely skillful in their profession. Without a doubt, I would rate Attorney Douglas Herring the most excellent defense lawyer in the state of New Jersey. His legal practices have similar characteristics of a detailer of cars who looks for and cleans areas where other car washers ignore. He does the same with the law; detailed and thorough. On the other hand, he is humble with confidence and wisdom. I would strongly recommend Attorney Herring to anyone in the state of New Jersey who is looking for an A-1 defense lawyer. Before you make your final decision on a lawyer it would be to your advantage to make a call to the best lawyer in the Garden State before you look elsewhere. If I could give more than 5 stars I would, but Google limits us to only 5. My experience with Attorney Doug Herring was awesome from start to finish. From the moment that I spoke to him he was understanding and did everything that he possibly could to be of assistance. My case was a little out of the way for him and he had to drive over an hour to be present, but because he stands for justice and cares about his clients he was still willing to take my case. I currently live in Chicago and was charged, because of something that took place in my hometown in New Jersey that I was not even present for nor was I involved in any way whatsoever. He was able to use his knowledge of how prosecution of cases work to go to court in my stead and get the case dismissed without me even having to fly back home to stand in court. Doug is awesome at what he does!!
