Just bought my first home. Emily was incredibly knowledge and honestly personable. Helped me keep on track to get everything organized and on time, and advised on the best course of action to protect myself in all these contracts/negotiations. She provided referrals if there was anything outside her expertise. I had a different situation using a private mortgage rather than a bank and she helped walk us through that too. Well worth it!

We just bought our first home and worked with Emily as our lawyer. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with her and the firm. From start to end she understood our situation and was very patient and professional throughout the process. She explained each step to us and proactively got us ready with documents, etc. for what was to come. We were always one step ahead in being prepared for the entire transaction and closing. We had a long closing period with several complex transaction negotiation and disputes with the sellers; Emily was able to drive those exceptionally well to our benefit. She is also litigious when you need her to be and drives results to your benefit. From helping us with bulk sale agreements [something we or the sellers lawyer hadn’t even heard of] to escrow letters for our septic installation, she covered everything thoroughly and comprehensively. She and the firm also charge a flat rate for the entire transaction which really works at being cost effective. We had many questions along the way since this was our first home purchase and Emily answered all of them very patiently and expediently without charging us hourly which made us more informed and didn’t end up costing more than what the flat rate fee was. Emily was very knowledgeable about the unique property we were purchasing [big acreage property with horse boarding facility] and advised us on all matters other than just the home purchase. We ended up hiring Emily for our business needs as well and she helped us with all the legal needs for starting our business. If you are looking for a lawyer for your real estate transaction who will make the whole process seamless then we would definitely recommend Emily and her firm as All Stars.

Hanan Isaacs is a wonderful lawyer and the best advocate you could ask for. I recommend him without reservation. When I first met Hanan, when I was so angry and terrified about what was happening to me in my workplace, he listened patiently, and carefully. When I first started calling lawyers to find someone that would take my case, pertaining to a breach of my employment contract, no one seemed willing or able to take my case. Some said it would be to unique or difficult of a case to be able to win. When I contacted Hanan, he listened intently and asked all the right questions. He said that he found my case to be interesting and was more than willing to pursue my case. He was also up front about the possible worst case and best case scenario’s, and of possible costs. He genuinely made me feel confident that this was a case he could handle. Hanan and his staff stayed in constant contact with me during the entire process. I felt more like family than a client. The outcome was favorable to myself and I felt that I had been vindicated. Without Hanan and his top notch staff, I don’t believe the outcome would ever have been as good.

In January of this year, I fell very ill and was unable to work. Kingston Law group handled my insurance claim, entitling me to benefits to which I was entitled. I cannot say enough good things about Hannan Issacs and Hira Ghumman who took not only a professional interest in my case, but a personal one as well. Lawsuits are difficult, even more so when you are not well, so having lawyers who were compassionate, made all the difference to me.
