I was not happy with my experience working with Randie Ehrilich…neither was my husband, my real estate agent and our mortgage broker. She is not pleasant and somewhat abrasive. She also heavily relies on her paralegal for basic tasks (like making changes in a word doc). Even though I paid her $500 more than I was quoted by other attorneys, I ended up spending hours writing my own request to the sellers regarding fixing broken items based on the inspection report. I didn’t think the paralegal did a good job and when i discussed it was Randie, she said she is not updating it. Very unprofessional.

Randie was our real estate law on our first transaction in the state. She took the time to explain the process to us, and what the implications of various hypotheticals were. She was open to being questioned and fair and frank with her answers.
She added backbone to our negotiations and was pivotal in getting the purchase closed.
I would recommend her to both first-time buyers and to people with experience who need a good negotiator; she is an asset to any transaction.

We worked with Randie for purchase of our first home in West Windsor. She guided us through every step of the process and has been very responsive to our questions and concerns. She is extremely sharp, detailed oriented and her office always stayed one step ahead. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent real estate attorney.

Unlike other reviews here we had a completely different experience.
My agent recommended Randie and after reading these reviews our immediate reaction was "No". But then our agent pushed us to just give her a call and then decide for ourselves. When I called her she asked for the home address and immediately on that call the looked up the property details. She pulled up the seller agent information and had previous experience working with them. Randie looked up the property photos and recommend the things we should look out for in our inspections. She also recommended the right person for pool inspection.
I had called other 3 attorneys prior to calling Randie and they weren't as knowledgable or prompt as Randie.
After the inspection was done we had lot of back and forth with the seller and Randie was on top of things each time. She helped negotiate (literally fight) for everything we asked and did manage to get the best for us.
Randie was always accessible over the phone, even after office hours, on weekends and when she was on vacation.
On the closing day, she throughly walked us through all the paper work and patiently answered all our questions.
Thanks to Randie we managed to closing in less than 40 days.

1) Yells at clients. We basically needed to see if the sellers were willing to extend the date required for a mortgage commitment lock and rather than simply asking their attorney, she yelled at us because she thought we would be in breach of contract. She didn't offer to investigate the issue further nor did she seemed interested in advocating for us. In the end, she reluctantly agreed to speak with the sellers' attorney & they had no problem with our request whatsoever.
2) Does not acknowledge clients. At the closing, which was the first time we met her, she came out of her office & proceeded to socialize with the sellers, their attorney & real estate agent. Immediately prior to going into the room for the closing, she came over to us to shake hands & say hello (& only hello).
3) Unprofessional. Throughout the closing process, she talked openly in front of all there about other colleagues/attorneys and what she though of them in no blanketed/diplomatic terms. There seemed to be no concern for maintaining confidentiality or professional respect on her part.
4) Poor advocate and office practices. We were told at the time of closing that our title insurance policy and deed would be ready in 3 months. When we had heard nothing from them after 3.5 months, we contacted her office only to be told to contact the title insurance company ourselves. The title insurance company advised us that their protocol was to mail these documents to the attorney directly & that this had been done 1 month after our closing. Randie and her assistant then told us (for the first time) that when it comes to this specific title insurance company alone, they do not get involved in the documents. Interestingly, for all other companies they do. Not once did Randie nor her secretary apologize for any miscommunication, mistake, or oversight or mention that THEY would look into this matter on our behalf as our advocates.

The worst attorney we have ever seen! She never took our calls during closing process. Even when she rarely did, she was extremely rude. I have never seen anyone as unprofessional as her - she literally yells at her clients. To top it all, when we were 2 days from closing and needed her to send us a revised contract, she doesn't answer calls and finally calls back saying we are not the only clients. She wont be able to close our house on time. We have absolutely no respect for this woman both as a person or as a professional.
