We used Tanya for a house sale / purchase in early 2022. Tanya was great to work with and made the stressful process of selling / buying a house much easier. She communicated up front what the process would involve (we hadn't had a real estate transaction in over 20 years so it was a good refresher!) and was extremely proactive in all aspects of the process. Tanya has provided legal representation for me on 3 occasions, for the purchase of two homes in NJ and the sale of one. On another occasion, i appreciated her making the effort to really dig into the background of some easements on the property I was purchasing to ensure complete resolution of all outstanding questions and comfort for me as the buyer. My wife and I engaged Tanya to represent us in connection with the purchase of our first home, and we could not recommend her more! From the beginning, Tanya exceeded our expectations. With a baby on the way and an expiring apartment lease, we communicated to Tanya that our goal was to close on our new home in 30 days. Tanya promptly provided an in-depth overview of the key steps and benchmarks involved in purchasing a home in New Jersey, and set an action plan for us to meet our goal. Starting with the attorney review process, Tanya’s commitment to her clients immediately became apparent. Within hours of receiving the contract from the seller’s attorney, Tanya reviewed the contract, provided commentary, and prepared a draft addendum. This level of dedication was not unique to the attorney review process. – rather, it defined our entire experience with Tanya. As first time homebuyers, we had many questions, and could always rely on a response from Tanya, often within minutes. In providing a response, Tanya consistently went above and beyond to ensure our questions were answered and concerns were eased. Tanya even went so far as to answer our questions while on vacation, taking a call from the shores of Lake Tahoe! I am happy to say that our goal was not only met, but exceeded, as we closed in 29 days! This would not have been possible without Tanya. Buying a home, especially in New Jersey, can be a turbulent experience, and Tanya’s reliability and dedication put us at ease throughout the entire process, and allowed us to settle into our new home just in time for the arrival of our baby boy!

My wife and I bought and sold homes this year and as soon as we contacted Tanya we knew we made the right choice. She represented my wife and I during a difficult home purchase, gave us sound advice, and above all told us the truth, even if we didn’t want to hear it. I was in a bad situation. I had 2 charges, one for possession of marijuana and the next possession of paraphernalia, I also had a traffic ticket for possession of marijuana in my vehicle. So I was screwed all across the board in one of the toughest states New Jersey, where the marijuana laws are stringent, despite the fact it will be legalized soon. I hired Tanya and I immediately felt at ease. Tanya asked me what happened and I explained my situation. She immediately told me what I had to do and had my court date adjourned being that I hired her in the same week as my court date. Tanya asked for and received the discovery and immediately shared it with me. I looked it over and we went over everything. Tanya informed me of all my options and the situation looked grim. On the day of court I met with Tanya and we discussed the situation once again. Tanya told me the Prosecutor is very tough on these types of cases being that this is considered a criminal act because New Jersey is tough concerning marijuana. Tanya said she would do her best to fight for me and plea my case to the Prosecutor. In the courtroom I nervously waited because I couldn’t afford to lose my license and I was in a town and state I’m not even from. How would I get home? Where would my car go? How would I get back and forth to work? When Tanya came in the courtroom she sat next to me and explained the deal she had worked out with the Prosecutor. Plead guilty to either the charge of possession of marijuana or the charge of possession of paraphernalia, which Tanya advises me to plead to the latter and pay a fine, which she had worked out a low payment arrangement for the fines New Jersey has for these situations. The loss of my license was not recommended (Thank God, thank you Tanya!) although it was up to the Judge, who by the way is a tough Judge) and Tanya pleaded my case to the Judge and Thank God my license was not suspended and I plead guilty to the possession of paraphernalia charge and paid my fine in full. My situation was finished. I thank Tanya for her excellent service and her intelligence in dealing with my situation. Tanya is very professional and I would definitely recommend her to my family and friends. Thank you Tanya once again. God bless. By the way this was not my first time in this situation it had happened to me in another state as well so for it being my second time and my last time, Tanya you did a great job.
