As a young single mother of 4 children with a disabled son, a life long Middletown resident, in the beginning of a nasty divorce, trying to get back on my feet after a house fire a few short years ago claimed everything we owned except the clothes on our backs.. I left a 5 year position at a very well known and respected medical specialist office in Red Bank to join Mr. Monaghans team. Only to be fired, on the spot! As if I stole from him or did something terrible or unforgiving yet, nothing had transpired. I was attacked and humiliated with no real reason, no warning, completely blindsided and out of no where, so he could save a buck. This, 1 week before Thanksgiving and 2 weeks after being involved in a motorcycle accident. Because of this man, we face homelessness. I have never personally faced such callous, heartless and cold behavior before and have never been treated so poorly in any situation. Never left an employer on bad terms. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde vibes because for a moment, I truly respected and admired him and was so thankful for the opportunity and to be a part of his team. Perhaps a good lawyer I dont know but most definitely, not a good man or human.

Steve Monaghan is absolutely who you want to represent you. Unfortunately, divorce can be a nasty business. Emotional, damaging to the family, and expensive. But if you find the right person, like I did to guide you through the process, you can end the process fairly and without regrets. I cannot say enough about Steve and his team. I found Steve late in my divorce. I was being represented by someone for three years in a very complex and nasty divorce that was not going to end fairly for me. I needed a change, I needed someone who was going to advocate for me and be tough about it. Steve came in, and he was absolutely the new sheriff in town. He took control over the situation to ensure that I got a fair resolution. He was always thinking about my well-being, what could be done and what cannot be done, he is very succinct and accurate in his communication. He takes care of his clients, rather than taking advantage of them like the adversary Attorney did to her client. Steve is no nonsense. He will get the job done fairly and he will protect you all the way through the process. I thank God that I found him when I needed him. And now I can go through life without regrets because Steve ensured I was protected and treated fairly.
