I first retained Gerry Resnick back in 2013 on a discrimination matter. At the time, I had been working with another law firm on this for more than a year and had filed a law suit. But after little progress, and a case that the previous firm had "all over the place", I turned to an internet search and found Resnick. When I spoke with Mr. Resnick, it was clear he understood employment law. He took a mess of a case and got it focused and on track. I also liked his approach during depositions. He was very nice throughout. I would describe his depositions as kind, with powerful, well timed, questions. For that reason, he is a force to be reckoned with for the opposing side. In the end, I was pleased with the outcome. So much so, I referred my sister to him years later. Then just recently, I consulted with him on another employment matter of my own, which he took on and quickly brought to resolution. I've been very pleased. He is transparent and fair with his fees. He earns every penny. I would highly recommend him.

I had a terrific expeirence with this firm. Very Professional. Gerald Resnick negotiated a favorable deal for me, very happy with the outcome. The firm is much respected in employment law.

Vincent Antoniello helped my family member (who does not speak English) after we were referred to him by a close friend. He did a fantastic job and was remarkably prepared, responsive, and empathetic to our needs. A skilled negotiator, and quite reasonably priced. I would highly recommend him.

I retained the Resnick Law Group on contingency which proved disastrous. My attorney, Mr. Resnick, was playing catch up at the mediation table with the evidence I was presenting to the mediator. He reviewed very little of it prior to the day and certain portions he held back too long as he presumed I would have shared liability. If he, or his staff, had taken the time (not hourly billable...) to review that evidence they would have quantifiable knowledge that I did not have exposure and could have easily pushed for a much better settlement. Also, prior to going in it was agreed that a joint release would be achievable only to reverse course during the mediation. The kicker- somehow the defendant brought in a counter claim and a overstated value for negotiating purposes while our estimate was much lower whereby Mr. Resnick set his fee against an average of the two with a handwritten "revised" retainer fee. By the time checks where disbursed Mr. Resnick took 48% of the cash payment by the defendants. When I inquired about the disparity prior to receiving my checks and reminded him that I hadn't received a dollar of income for 5 months with many bills to pay he replied: We All Have Bills to Pay.... A bit tone def to his client.
