This lawyer represented me in a termination lawsuit. I found her to be professional but caring. She made sure that all the details were covered and went out of her way to make sure we represented the facts of my circumstances. She knows case law and puts together her narratives very well. I would recommend her to anyone in an employment situation where they have been treated unfairly.

I have consulted with Ms. Douglass several time and I have found that not only is she an excellent listener, she shows immense compassion and a very in depth knowledge of the law. I am writing to respond to the anonymous poster who unfairly trashed Michelle Douglass. My experiences with her are exactly the opposite. I’ve never met a lawyer who cares as much for her clients or who works harder. She treats everyone with courtesy and respect. Michelle has excellent legal and people skills. The anonymous poster either is an overly demanding person, had unreasonable expectations or lives in a warped sense of reality. He descriptions of Michelle’s conduct is simply erroneous and an exaggeration from someone who is bitter about things unrelated to her case. No doubt her bitterness came through to the jury. I’d also like to point out that the cases Michelle handles are not easy, they are labor intensive and legally and factually challenging. The overwhelming majority result in the claimant losing. Michelle is an undeterred fighter who spares no expense and works until everything is done. I hope I never need her again, but I’d highly recommend her.

Michelle helped me through a very difficult and complicated employment matter. She takes the time to keep you well informed and helps to clarify any questions or concerns you may have. I highly recommend Michelle to anyone with employment issues.

I will make this brief. She had the documented evidence for 4 years and didn't study it. She made decisions without my consent. She did not keep me informed as to why the case was repeatedly adjourned by her, and even after 4 years she still wasn't intimately knowledgeable, nor familiar with the evidence in this case. I wasn't pleased with her performance during litigation. She didn't pay attention to the fine points of the evidence and therefore didn't render effective arguments. She allowed my personal information such as my social security number and address to be shown on the mag screen in court when it should have been redacted. She barely objected to hearsay testimony during trial, and she wouldn't allow me to defend myself as a rebuttal witness in my own case after defense witnesses testimony. She talks more than she listens even though I'm the one who experienced the suffering and the pain and knew every detail of the evidence in this case. She's often verbally abusive and rude. I'm the one who had to live this nightmare so no one knew it better than me. If you need a good Attorney who is respectful, on the level, who listens, does the work and doesn't just try to fleece you for the money, and doesn't waste your time I suggest you look elsewhere than here.

There is no job too tough for this powerhouse attorney. Michelle is one of the finest legal minds in her field. She represented me in a complex discrimination case and went up against several attorneys and legal firms representing multiple defendants. They were overmatched. Think of David vs Goliath!
