My divorce was not an easy one by any means. The other party did not want to be a participate in the process that she initiated, be fair financially, and was in character throughout the two and half yr process. Veronica weeded through this from minute one. Veronica jumped on board in my case more than halfway through the process from the recommendation of my previous attorney to get my case resolved. There is a reason he recommended her. Veronica was forceful and stern during the negotiations(mediation) with the other party and was always looking out for my best interests financially which included doing everything possible from the first day I spoke to her to avoid trial which is where my case was headed. The reason for the referral from my previous attorney. During one of most difficult times of your life, Veronica attempted to understand everything on a personal/emotional level as well beyond the business aspect of divorce. Veronica is extremely knowledgeable of the NJ laws of divorce which is so important. She is professional, cordial, assertive, and great at explaining things/answering questions. Veronica also will hold you accountable if she needs to which is important in this process. The firm in Springfield is professional and welcoming; which is includes her paralegal Diana O who I would like to acknowledge as well. In divorce, no one wins or loses. My JOD was fair and equitable at the end of the day which is what should have happened. Veronica accomplished that for me with honesty and sincerity from day one. Five star review.

Emeral provided excellent mediation work and demonstrated advanced knowledge of pet agreements and custody, which was not easy to find for pet parents in New Jersey. I had a horrible first experience with hiring another attorney from a different firm; however, immediately after consulting with Emerald, I knew how I should have been treated the first time. She handled the entire process efficiently, had open communication and spoke with compassion. She was able to handle the divorce proceedings quickly as well. I was recommended to her by a friend who said she was a pitbull in the court process and she stood up to that title. Emerald was amazing! I highly recommend her services for divorce!

Emerald is a fantastic divorce lawyer. After my initial consultation I immediately knew I wanted her to represent me in my divorce. I found Emerald searching the internet as I needed to find a lawyer with experience with pet custody. My two dogs are my top priority, and I was not leaving them with my ex-husband. Emerald explained what my options were and what I can do to not jeopardize the custody of my dogs. She took her time in letting me know my rights in the state of NJ and what documentation she needed to begin the process. Thankfully, my divorce was very straightforward and not complicated (no children, no assets together, accounts all kept separately, etc.). My main concern was that my ex would come after the dogs. He ultimately waived his right to have the dogs, so it all worked out. In a matter of months were able to sign the divorce agreement. Unfortunately, Hudson County was the roadblock in getting the divorce finalized. I give Emerald all the kudos in the world in following up with the court to get our docket number and then continuous follow-up to get the meeting with the judge that ultimately was the last step in finalizing my divorce. Had it not been for Emerald’s persistence I think I’d still be waiting for that court date. I absolutely recommend Emerald and her services. She’s a fantastic person to work with and extremely friendly. Also, don’t be afraid if you have any doubt as I immediately knew she can play hard ball and will advocate for you even if your ex is a difficult person and rude. I work in corporate America and have seen all types of personalities and people; I knew once I met Emerald she could go toe to toe with anyone if needed. All in all, my experience with Emerald and her office was fantastic.
