Contrary to the majority of reviews I found the firm to be unprofessional & of questionable quality. Let me explain. When I call the number for the firm i get a Secretary who says the case is screened by a Dr who is retired before it goes to an attorney. This would be like making a Dr appointment & being told your problem will be screened by an attorney who is retired. The Dr appears rushed & appeared hostile to a potential client. He asks what should have been done for the potential client & when I explain he becomes irate, I guess because I, a non physician, knows as much as he ( or more) about the medical issues relating to the client. Of course I had to study this after the injury but the physician, retired or not, should not be yelling at a potential legal client, because the client is familiar with medical issues relating to his own case. In the midst of an angry lecture telling me what would be done in the ER, he hangs up, after telling me inconsistent information. (I don’t think he knew the basic protocol for resuscitation & became angry when I explained it to him after he asked me what could be done for the potential client.). He gives no referral to another firm & basically lost his firm a potential client now & in the future. Before being connected to him, the secretary says if the firm cannot take the case. He will give me the names of other firms. He never does this, as he is so engaged in trying to prove my theory of the case is wrong. My advice: avoid this firm for personal injury as a firm that employs someone like this may not be able to provide professional services that you would expect. The Dr’s name is “Roman”. When I asked the Secretary what his specialty was, she said she did not know. She said he worked in a hospital. That’s like asking a Secretary to an attorney what his specialty is & she has no idea, but proudly admits she does know he works in a courtroom. Not the information you would expect from a law firm.

I can’t thank Luis Haquia and his case manager Jenis Adams enough for all of their hard work and dedication that they put into my case. It took a long time to come to a resolution but all of their effort truly paid off. I am so grateful that I had them on my side to help me navigate through this process. If I ever need an attorney again I know exactly who I’m going to call. 10/10 highly recommend.
