Mr Damico is a very knowledgeable attorney

Damico Law Offices helped us with our recent residential home sale. Mike and Team were very easy to work with, they had excellent communication, and I always felt as if they had our back. The close went smoothly and we closed on-time with no surprises and almost nothing to do on our end. Thank you for helping make the move easy for us.

Mike Damico was very disorganized and unresponsible in dealing with my case, he delayed my case for months and always had some excuse for it. Please be aware of your dealing with this lawyer. They play well with Erika, do not pick up the phone, and do not answer emails. In my lawsuit case, they wrote incorrect numbers that have put me and my kids in a very bad situation, and when I’ve reached out they told me that there is no problem and they will file a cross-motion with the correct amount. So, the journey doesn’t stop there, the second time they filed a motion did not include 6 documents that were very important to this case which I’ve sent over. I was told that they would be sent to court separated from the motion, but what is not included in the motion is not discussed with the judge. The motions were sent to me after they were submitted to the court and then it was too late to correct them. But they however did not forget to bill me for their own mistakes. After 10 months we finally went to court, Damico was completely unprepared, when the judge was asking him, he was searching for the documents and gave short, poor answers without much information. In the middle of the trial, he said he had to turn on another zoom link and he was gone for 1 hour. After the trial I found myself in a worse situation than before, the percentages we shared for the children with the ex now are higher for me, the child support did not increase even a dollar, and nothing that Damico convinced me before that he would fix has been fixed. The trial was on December 17, Damico and Erika did not send me an order at all, on January 5th they sent me an invoice that I should pay them another $ 1,905. They don’t pick up the phone, don’t answer emails just send over bills without any result or accountability for their work and performances.

When I met Mike Damico for my free consultation. He truly listened to what I was explaining regarding my case. He explains everything regarding payment and much more, lawyer-client what's expected with the relationship. I've also read many great reviews on his performance with Family Court. He's a great guy and really appreciate that I hired him. Erica his paralegal, is also AWESOME. She gets back to you promptly, also very educated with the law. They're a GREAT TEAM.

*First I'd like to state that I have worked in Social Media Marketing and would urge other to look very carefully at the positive reviews. Not saying they are fake at all but do your research* I'll keep this short as I am in the middle of dealing with this issue. Michael and Erica have been very uncooperative with me, have not handed my case file over after Months of asking, made my case worse in my opinion, they constantly say I said this or that and 90% of the time it's totally false. I respond back asking them to show me where I've said such things and no response. He was retained in June 2020, it's almost November 2020 yet I haven't even received a break down of what work was done with the retainer. Then I get blamed saying I didn't follow his advice. I hired an Attorney to fix an issue not to be a life coach and tell me what to do. Also, what was supposed to be done needed to be done by an Attorney as I can't do certain things. I will add more to this once this is over as I'm still in the middle of this mess. I would urge other to look at other Attorneys and other review sites. This is all my opinion though, so proceed if you wish.
