When I first began the divorce process, it felt like a David versus Goliath situation with me being David in this case. My ex-wife works with attorneys on a daily basis and had her previous divorce attorneys on speed dial (one of the first red flags I chose to ignore before getting married). I had only lived in New Jersey for four years and had not needed to establish any kind of attorney relationships…I thought. I cannot express how thankful I am for her counsel and guidance throughout the entire divorce process. My options were always made very clear and I felt that I had a strong advocate in my corner.
