Michael was very attentive and helpful with our issues. He is easy to work with, while remaining very professional. He was able to work out a mutual resolution for all parties, in the end, and would recommend for someone in a similar situation!

Michael K. Kaplonski was hired for my litigation against my former employer along with Fred Shahrooz Scampato Esq. It was an associational discrimination lawsuit. I lost over 100k in salary. I was terminated by my employer by email. Michael Kaplonski and Attorney Fred Shahrooz Scampato were both also hired to defend me on a fraudulent retaliation lawsuit complaint filed by my former employer. The employer also claimed that I was blackmailing him with pictures and videos. They failed to file a motion to dismiss the lawsuit against me. Michael Kaplonski and Fred Shahrooz Scampato failed to investigate the facts of the case. To continue, after 14 months of handling the lawsuits. They failed to communicate properly. I did not receive an email from them in 7 months. They claimed my Father's Doctor would not cooperate with them. However, when I spoke with the Doctor. He said he doesn't know what my attorneys have been telling me. The Doctor provided a disability letter. Attorneys gave the doctor 10 days to provide the lettter. However, they had months to request this letter from my Father's Doctor. Michael Kaplonski and Fred Shahrooz Scampato claimed that the fraudulent lawsuit against me would cost over $20,000.0; in case I lost the original lawsuit. Fred Shahrooz Scampato also claimed that he did not get medical records from the doctors. However, I supplied medical records months prior. Michael Kaplonski and Fred Shahrooz Scampato advised me to drop the lawsuit by email. However, they did not state the terms of the settlement which I demanded. Once I signed the release; The settlement agreement was all in favor of the former employer. I argued with Kaplonski and Scampato for days. However, they made only minor changes to the settlement agreement. They stated if I don't sign the agreement. That they would walk away from representing me. Fred Shahrooz Scampato said that I am unable to get family leave. However, I was able to get it on my own without his help. Did not recover 1 cent. Poor communication, not recommended, I would give you -5 stars. Horrible experience with these two attorneys. I did file a grievance against both attorneys Michael Kaplonski and Fred S. Scampato for: Failure to communicate Failed to file a motion to dismiss a frivioulous lawsuit Failed to issue interrogatories They failed to release the lien on my lawsuit. However, they said they had no interest in my case.

I worked with different lawyers over the years. I can't think of an attorney that was more helpful, available, and candid to respond to any question I had. It was very important for me to have this type of partner in any transaction because time is always of the essence. His knowledge in real estate and his overall work ethic was incredible.
