Nobody likes needing a lawyer. Let's be honest about that. But when you do need a lawyer, Chris is an absolutely amazing person to have in your corner. He explained things related to my divorce in detail and with complete honesty, from the week of separation to the divorce finalization. He was always available quickly when I needed advice, or even reassurance about a random or unreasonable worry. Chris goes the extra mile to also treat his clients like full human beings who have skills, knowledge, and worth but happen not to be lawyers themselves. I had a relatively simple case in the end, but that was largely through his work and good sense along the way. That meant things could have cost a lot more money, but he actively took steps to keep that from happening. His ethics are impeccable and I always left conversations with him feeling better.
