I like to take a moment out to speak on the Law office of Peter j. Lamont. We reached out to his office from Maryland to sell a home located in Newark New Jersey. The first line of duty person that we was put in contact with was a (Jacqueline) Gorges; she is the Senior Paralegal at the law office's. This lady "Jacqueline" spent the needed time with us explaining each and every question we had in detail "prior" to we settling on selecting a law office to represent us. This business gesture was not only huge to us but it made our selection a no brainer. The time spent to find a law office had now come to an end thankfully... The fact is; If a law office could choose to spend valuable time to answer questions; (in detail) without any commitment's from us... This made this "particular law office" the favorable choice easily. Additionally; after the fact; I learned that this Law office works with STARTUP BUSINESSES as well as TRADEMARK'S. I would not overlook this particular office to represent you! We can say from afar (Maryland) that we would do it again with the "same" law office because of Jacqueline Gorges unmatched; superb service. She made herself readily available and when she had other business where she could not be available... she put us in touch with others to make sure we were covered every step of the way. Each time she took the "initiative" to inform us in advance when she would not be available whenever possible. She's indeed an asset to this team... offering professionalism with an "easygoing" spirit that was displayed throughout the entire very stressful process. When searching for a law office; know that your search is over and the buck stops here!!! You're be in good hands with the law offices of Peter j. Lamont. My wife made a few calls looking for the services of a local attorney to handle the sale of our house and the closing on our new home. My wife asked Jacqueline several questions. The second my wife ended the call she looked at me and said Jacqueline answered all my questions and she was very professional and nice let’s use Peter Lamont’s office. We had ups and downs in a long process of selling and buying. And trying to line up both closings on the same day hours apart. There were days my wife and I wanted to pull our hair out. I can’t tell you how great full we had Jacqueline in our corner. She was always on top of everything going on threw this long process. On the day of closing my attorney peter lamont and Jacqueline made both closings very smooth. I was in and out of the office with no surprises except the bottle of wine mr lamont gave me. I found the price was very fair and would definitely use the office again. From both my wife and I Jacqueline thanks for all you did it was a absolute pleasure to work with you.

Peter and his team worked with me through a very difficult time. They understood my position and were always available to explain and guide me. Peter really took the time to walk me through all of the issues I would face in defending against a contract I signed many years ago. He was knowledgeable and I am happy to have him as my legal resource in the future.

I am a new author and after completing my manuscript, I contacted publishing houses. A publisher showed interest in my work and sent me a contract. After reviewing the contract, I became concerned as some of the narrative within the contract was vague and I had concern’ as to what my 'ownership of rights’ as well as several other concerns would be. I needed an expert’s advice on contracts as I was one step away from singing. I found Attorney Lamont' reviews were 5 star and decided to engage in his review and analysis of the contract before moving forward. Thankfully I did contact Attorney Lamont. I emailed the contract and his office scheduled a conference call to discuss the findings. After Attorney Lamont' review, I was astonished at all the areas of concern he had with the contract. Narrative that not many professionals would have picked up, certainly not me. Attorney Lamont went into finite detail, going over the 5-page contract and pointed out areas such as the exclusivity agreement, loss of rights, areas of the contract that are immediate 'red flags', other areas where I would have potentially lost international rights. I was shocked at first that I was about to sign the contract, but was thankful that I engaged in Attorney Lamont's services to review the contract. Attorney Lamont also offered advice on how I could get my manuscript published and most importantly he advised on how I can protect my manuscript going forward. I immediately declined the offer from the publisher and are already in the process of meeting another publisher. If it wasn't for Attorney Lamont, I probably would have lost my creation. Thank goodness I contacted him !!

I sent the document to the lawyer. He reviewed it then called me at the appointed time to discuss it. He explained the various sections in the document to me and confirmed that the changes I had proposed were legally appropriate. My expectations were fully met.
