I had a consult with Edward. He made sure that I was protected by consulting with me first and then bringing my fiancé into the room after we were both on the same page. I appreciated this conscious decision. It made me feel that he truly cared about me as a potential client. He explained things ina way that I could understand and answered all of my questions. Although I did not need an attorney at this time, I will be using Edward when I do. I highly recommend his services. Thank you, Edward.

Ed Harness was very helpful and made me feel at ease with questions regarding the bankruptcy process. I was somewhat shameful to file, which included two properties, one that was occupied by problem tenants. This made the process of filing more troublesome, but he was able to hold my hand and guide me through all steps, even 1-1/2 years later with tax documents that came after the discharge. I would highly recommend him withou reservation, to anyone who may be reluctant to go the bankruptcy route. He is very calm, confident, and will even listen to you ramble on while staying on task. You will not be disappointed.

Ed helped my ex-wife and I file for bankruptcy at the same time we filed for divorce. (Lesson learned - do one or the other, never both. Federal and County courts won't act until the other has ruled) The process was ridiculously painful, but he was patient and helpful the entire way through.

I had a unique case due to the fact that I work as a contract I.T. person. I had been out of work over a year and we were almost destitute when I got the call for my current position, has been a year and a half now. This all happened before officially filing the bankruptcy as we were scraping and paying for Mr. Harness' services. So of course the clerk/judge probably thought I was crazy to try and file any kind of bankruptcy. Ed worked with my employer diligently to let the court know that once this contract is up I will have no income at all coming in and would be right back to needing to file bankruptcy on our credit debt. He was very professional, very personable and I feel very blessed that he was referred to me by a mutual friend to help me win the case and start over debt free. As calm, knowledgeable and confident as Ed is, his staff of Mary and Alma are equally top notch. Would I recommend him and his firm? I have! Several times. I am lawyer-phobic, so I especially appreciated the demeanor and Ed and Mary and Alma. I felt reassured and trusting. A potentially traumatic experience was actually a very efficient, professional and pleasant experience. Ed, Mary and Alma have stayed true to the promise of availability at no additional charge through the duration of the bankruptcy. I had a difficult patch involving a car that was totaled and the loan company continued to take payment and I was both without a car and without money to get another. The Harness team stayed on this diligently - expending countless hours on phone calls and correspondence until it was resolved and it resolved VERY MUCH to my advantage thanks to Ed Harness!

Initially I was told my case would be no problem, he worked things out and I would be fine. He was wrong, I wanted a chap 7 but could not immediately file. Got a chap 13 was to covert to a 7, yet he was wrong with the dates and his advice. As a result I was forced back into a 13 which was supposed toonly include 2 items his fee and a car payment but the 13 came in and out. He was rarely responsive when I inquired about the chap 7 keeping me in the 13 longer. Though all he had to do was allow the 13 to be dismissed and refile my chap 7 he chose not too. When I finally had enough and demanded he file the chap 7 he allowed my 13 to be dismissed only to demand another $1500. When I contested the fee he told me to file a complaint and get another lawyer. He got $3000 I got fleeced!
