In 2016, I was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unfortunately, I had to seek legal representation for the situation that I got into. I was placed into what I believed to be an unjust situation. I was slandered and lied about, the “victims” lied and lied to the officers. They made outrageous allegations towards me, they made me out to be a monster. The reports that the officers filed were full of false information and misinterpreted points of view on what happened. The officers lied about what happened while I remained in custody. I felt as if my life was going to be over; I met with multiple attorney’s, I even contracted the services of one. He failed me, did not seem to care about me or my situation, only ever contacted me or responded to my questions when he wanted payment. When I was referred to Vince Martinez by another person I had hope that I was being lead into the right hands. Once I met with Mr. Martinez, I really liked his attitude about my situation. He admitted it wasn’t going to be easy, he told what I was facing was heavy and I would be on a long road. However, after saying all that, he assured me that he would seek the utmost justice for me. He said he would do everything that he could to make sure I stayed out of prison and my criminal record kept spotless. His professionalism during the first consultation was amazing, he proved how knowledgeable he is about the law. He found loopholes and holes in the entire story right off the bat. He filed motion after motion immediately after our consultation. Every time I had questions or concerns on where paperwork was at and what the DA’s office was doing, he assured me that this takes time and would let me know that if anything important came up; he would notify me. He was always and still being attentive to my needs and questions. He made the entire process easy and worry free, I had to wait so long for the DA to even do anything, that’s how bad it apparently seemed, they even added charges after the fact. Even after this, Vince assured me that I would be okay and that he was going to do his very best to protect my character. I also have to mention Kelly his paralegal, she was always kind and very speedy with any requests that I had if we could not get ahold of Vince, however he ALWAYS got back to me in a timely manner. When Vince is in the courtroom, to say that he “out works” the prosecutors is an understatement. He has the tenacity and vigor to do what needs to be done. He doesn’t give up and watching him move around and communicate with EVERYONE in the courtroom is amazing. It gives you a sense of not only calmness but also confidence. In the end, I can say that the outcome that I received was the best for myself. I highly recommend this man to anyone that needs a “Fighter”, because that’s just what he will do for you. There is no giving up in the man, he IS a grade above the rest and he has my eternal respect and gratitude for everything he has done for me. He has brought me peace in my life and killed all uncertainty that I had about my future. I would give him 10 stars if I could. Believe it!
