The New Mexico Legal Group charged me $14,000 but did not petition for my divorce. I have not been divorced before and trusted them and their fiduciary responsibility to process the divorce in the correct sequence. In short, I paid 14k for a Parenting Plan which took seven months, but the court was never petitioned. Stay away from this firm.

New Mexico Legal Group was highly efficient and professional with the process of a divorce mediation. They were kind and very responsive to questions, answering in a way that was understandable. Overall they were neutral throughout and helped with any concerns that arose. It was worth working with them to finish the divorce in an amicable manner. Highly recommend them.

No good it's a scam

Starting from the beginning I had a DUI case nothing crazy but I wanted the best result I went and spoke to other lawyers that were much cheaper than Cynthia but when speaking with her I felt like I got what I was paying for which was not cheap I paid everything upfront no questions asked (ps I was told this would include all court fees later found out I had to still pay those myself )and once the process started my feelings quickly changed I felt like this was just another DWI case and her paralegal there were definitely missed opportunities to shorten my sentence or reduce them where I believe Cynthia never bothered to ask or push for I know this because the judge was almost going to shorten it by accident and approve it but At the end of the day i didn’t like my service with her save yourself at least 2k and go to another lawyer
