I've worked with Mr. Madrid both in my capacity as a defense attorney, and formally, across the table, as a prosecutor. When I was a prosecutor, we all knew Mr. Madrid as a formidable adversary. Whomever said he was lazy, was probably never a real client of Mr. Madrid. Whomever describes him as greedy is inaccurate also. Mr. Madrid does many pro bono hours a year and has always assisted those of is in the attorney bar. He is well-liked on both sides of the table, defense bar and prosecutors.
