I literally spent over a year struggling to handle my matters Pro Se. During the entirety of that time i met a handful of local Family Law Attorney's. One consultation after the other, praying to find 'the one' who fit the character and qualities i sought, behold, then came Sarah & her TEAM. Let me first clarify and affirm i was in no way "shopping around" for an attorney based on "cost" nor "budget". Don't get me wrong, i'm a humble and modest individual so cost is an absolute factor, however it was never a deterrent. The benchmarks i utilized & prioritized to assessing my chosen representative was based on the following; 1. Consultation experience: was that attorney attentive, sincere, how was their demeanor, were they patient, or did they make me feel rushed. Was he/she understanding, empathetic, what about humbleness/checked ego. Were they just pitching themselves & selling false hopes. Lastly, how did they rate on a bullshit scale. 2. Integrity 3. Ability to Relate (they themself a husband/wife & children of their own) 4. Reviews (all/any i could dig up) 5. Professional Background 6. Transparency 7. Length of experience/history 8. Concentrated field in Family Law (rather than a one-stop shop practicing attorney or firm "for all your legal needs"). i want the attorney who is solely focused & well experienced to go to battle in the same war zone. 9. Engagement Agreement 10. Billing Practice After my consultation with Sarah, i spent the remainder of my day and night finishing my assessment & reviews. The next afternoon, i confidently signed my engagement agreement, provided my retainer, & had the greatest sense of relief from the burden and stresses that have been weighing on me for the past 14mos. I would avoid this lawfirm if you want to see your children again. In July the court ordered reunification therapy. I was billed $100 for providing the name of a therapist by email. In August the lawyer urgently needed me to provide the name of the therapist. In the August hearing the lawyer folded over the compelling attack of... my ex doesn't like my friends. The lawyer terminated services in Sept and decided to produce bills for the rest of the retainer... apparently responding to their emails is also a $100 charge.

Thomas was knowledgeable, helpful, prompt, conscientious and kind. He helped my mom tremendously and put her greatly at ease. Highly recommend him!

Sarah was great to work with regarding my custody issue. She spent time listening in order to fully understand my situation. I felt very comfortable speaking with her and confident in her abilities. She followed through on her commitment and fortunately was able to facilitate a favorable outcome.
