Jay Goodman and Associates Law Firm proved to be the right choice for me having to deal with legal issues that I had no knowledge of where to start in getting a divorce here ,Albuquerque, NM.. I was introduced to the law firm by way of the internet. My marriage had me in a place where I had never been, felling abandoned with nowhere and no one to turn to for help.I moved here from Alabama and had no relatives or friends. Before I moved to Albuquerque to get married, I had a near fatal house fire and lost everything that I ever owned in the fire. I was asleep when it happened and was only able to escape with my life. A divorce is almost like experiencing death if you really love your spouse. I wanted my marriage to work, but unfortunately that was not the case. The law firm gave me peace of mind especially for dealing with trying to get my life started all over again from the bottom up. Jay Goodman and Associates were caring and empathetic towards my personal situation and freed me up of the burden of being concerned about the divorce process .I am so grateful to God for the support I received from my attorney and the entire team. I called them about a child support case that is an interstate case. I was very specific that the jurisdiction of the case is in New Mexico but the representative told me that I need to call a Texas lawyer and then promptly hung up on me mid sentence when I was trying to explain to him that it is not a Texas case. I know this for a fact because I have talk to another lawyer about the exact same issue but I was calling Jay Goodman & Associates in order to try to find an attorney with a lower retainer fee. I don't appreciate getting hung up on and I wish that they would have listened to me as a potential client instead of dismissing what I had to say. ////////////////// Response: why would I be in your client database if you hung up on me after telling me my New Mexico case wasn't in New Mexico.... No, I definitely got the correct location.

I have nothing bad to say but if I would give any advice don't use them for Child Custody Cases. Went to the parenting class and there were 3 other guys that shared the same story. Truth

The office manager, Gary, sounds like he's 100 years old. He never remembers why you are calling and their screening process to even speak to an attorney is like trying to penetrate Fort Knox! Their attorney's can't be that good according to other reviews on this site.
