During my recent divorce proceedings in 2022-2023, Cordell & Cordell Law couldn't have done better for me. With a now ex that refused to sign anything, they had the tact and fortitude to stand strong and get the final result I needed, a divorce! My only complaint, although I am sure most law firms are not cheap, is every single email, call, etc was billed, if even for a minute to reply. SO even checking status caused me more debt. However, the adage "you get what you pay for" I AM SURE applies here, my attorneys and staff were all excellent! Well worth the money spent and I am glad it's all over! Thank you!!!!! P.S. Men!!!! DONT just give up!!! You have rights too!!!!

They are the Walmart brand of lawyers. Expect bare minimum, (at best) for maximum billing. Each one has too many cases to focus on yours. They are disliked unofficially in Albany County, just having them next to you is a strike against you before the show even starts. Thank God I replaced them before it was too late.

DISGUSTED by my representation. Basic divorce. I am a male. Originally Cordell and Cordell assigned me a 27-year-old 7 MONTH PREGNANT WOMAN as my attorney. I requested a male, but was assigned a woman. She told me to keep paying the EX weekly. When she went out 2 months later to deliver the baby, I was assigned a male. He asked me why I was still paying the ex a weekly payment???? What ? They also charged me to meet with new lawyer and get him "up to speed" on the case. This fee was later deducted after my complaint. But a very large fee and even more stress added to an already chaotic time. When the time came to meet the judge (several months and thousands of dollars later)...my new attorney (ASA) didn't even know I had 3 kids !!!! Two of them have a form of Muscular Dystrophy ! Ex bailed a few months after we found out kids were sick. He didn't even know these basic facts of the case. He didn’t stand up for me AT ALL. My past check payments ( for equity of house ) paid to ex didn’t matter he said. Even though I paid over $35K and have statements to prove it. The ex’s abusive behavior didn’t matter. The kids own testimony was ignored. The fact that I supported mortgage, insurances, doctor bills, birthdays, Xmas etc. for 3 years...didn't matter at all. TOTALLY DISGUSTED at my representation. They were just a hand in my wallet. DO NOT CALL these guys. Their commercials claim they are for men and their rights. They are just out for $$$ like most lawyers. And it WAS NOT CHEAP!

He is based in the Albany office but also has a satellite office in Saratoga, which has been very convenient for my location.
