A fair public defender.

I had the pleasure of John Dejohn representing me and let me tell you, he was absolutely amazing. He was super professional, extremely precise, and very welcoming. I was super nervous about my case until I was assigned John! Every worried feeling I had, he took it right away! If I ever needed anyone to represent me again(although i don’t ever plan to be in trouble again lol), i would request John in a heartbeat! Literally amazing! Theres nothing like being able to sleep at night knowing your public defender has got your back and really has your best interest at heart. What an amazing and extremely dedicated person he is! John was available any time, any day and i appreciate that so much given all the cases he probably had. Im so happy with my case outcome and I have John to thank for that! Trust me, if you have the choice, def request him! & Thank me later! 😊

I had my first offense that shook me to my core. I didn’t know what to expect because I haven’t been in a courthouse since I was a child. So, my initial response to it was “I’m going to jail, my life is over”. Thankfully, my case ended up in the hands of someone who is well educated in his field, motivated by achieving the best outcome for a case, has exceptional communication, and supplies the reassurance that anyone needs during an experience like court. Reassurance was huge for me with this being my first offense and all. He took the time to break things down in a way that was more understandable for me and guided me through the entirety of it all. So, with that being said, Mr. John DeJohn is hands down one of the best public defenders you can be set up with. I am completely satisfied with how hard he fought for me during that minor life lesson and getting me the best results. If anything happens and you find yourself in need of an attorney, I recommend him without a doubt!

I want to say that the public defender that represented my son went above and beyond to work with him to succeed! As his mother dealing with a son with a drug addiction was exhausting me, as this lawyer was not playing game’s with him, he had a gruffness, add at first I was afraid of his directness, to find out that he was so professional and on point as he dealt with drug addiction issues for years! And his personality was awesome and he was very caring!! Not only dealing with my son he dealt with me ,which wasn’t his job! He kept reassuring me to not to bail him out! to let him do what he needs to do as his lawyer showed that he truly cared, because if he didn’t, he would’ve said bail him out! He was amazing! And he deserves 10 gold stars!! I can’t thank Mike Jurina enough!!!

I was assigned a public defender, that did nothing but beg me to take a plea deal. Tried to sell me an ACD and was unprofessional in my opinion after refusing it. Hey Michele Walton you were wrong and I was right, my case was dismissed!!!! You wanted me to give up my rights and not protect them at all. Misdemeanor charge took 2years and 3 days to have dismissed, but it was dismissed. This office reflects the laziness that plagues public defense. My lawyer treated my case like a personal diet and ignored it 😂😂😂

The receptionist is so rude and not helpful at all. She kept giving out wrong information jeopardizing people's lives by overgeneralization, not relying any messages. I finally got in touch with the lawyer and he sorted it out for me.

Please free Joe N. Darby. DOB: 09/22/67. I will make sure that he never gets into trouble with the law again. Please give him another chance.🙏🏾 I'm inside of his life now and I will guide him to his highest potential. Yes, he has made mistakes; but I truly believe that the prison system works and it has changed him in so many positive ways. Please give us the opportunity to prove that; yes the Correctional System can also be a positive life influence as well. We've even written a book about our journey together while him being incarcerated. Available soon on Amazon & Kindle. We're just waiting to publish it as soon as he's released.
