My experience with Rakesh couldnt have gone any better. A minor traffic infraction turned into a cop trying to throw the book at me. Rakesh went right to work and handled the whole process, getting all 5 moving violations reduced to parking tickets. His fees are reasonable and totally worth the results. I’d recommend him to anybody in need of an attorney.

This is the second time I’ve used Rakesh Joshi’s legal services and again I am 100% satisfied. He is an absolutely brilliant lawyer. But more than anything he is your peace of mind. He is the oasis in the desert, the lighthouse in the storm and the reassurance in your time of need. Legit I can personally attest that he is the check and balance to what can be an unfair system for so many people. (women, disabled, other minorities, the socially economic disadvantaged, immigrants…) I am amazed at the relationships he has, the respect he gives and receives from colleagues, clients, court staff and how smoothly things move as a result. My first case, I was a victim of a predominant local “slum” landlord, and Rakesh Joshi successfully litigated for my family in the City Court of Albany, the second case was a minor traffic violation in the town of Brunswick, which was quickly dismissed. I call Rakesh Joshi with ANY legal issue. My only regret is, I did not find him sooner.

Mr. Joshi represented my father in a criminal case that spanned for nearly a year. My father was facing very serious charges and the uncertainty of his future was incredibly debilitating. Mr. Joshi explained the nature of my father’s case very clearly while providing realistic expectations. He traveled numerous occasions between Malta Town Court and Saratoga County Court to represent my father and would quickly give us notice if any changes or updates occurred with the case. He provided great results that surpassed our expectations and truly acted in my father’s best interest. He was completely fair and by far the most trustworthy attorney I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. Mr Joshi is a very professional, knowledgeable, and good-natured person. I would recommend Mr. Joshi as an attorney in all areas of law and to top it all, the fees he charged were extremely reasonable especially considering all the work, time, and expertise he put in towards my father’s case.

My first impression of Attorney Rakesh Joshi was that he was responsive and proactive, however, several events invalidated this assessment. 1) It became progressively more difficult to get updates on the case as time passed. 2) He missed a court hearing 6 months ago with no follow-up provided to the town court. 3) The town threatened to submit my license for suspension based on the missed hearing. 4) After I brought up these concerns Attorney Joshi failed to email or call the court with an updated plan. 5) After replacing Attorney Joshi with a competent attorney he agreed to refund my payment but as of this writing has failed to do so. SUMMARY: For a simple speeding ticket of a driver that has a clean record this is too much drama - BEWARE.

I had some charges that really could have affected me professionally. I was going to hire another attorney but didn’t feel great about them. I began searching for other attorneys, and saw Rakesh had wonderful reviews. Now I know why. He got me STELLAR results. From the time I spoke to him, he listened, made me feel as though I could trust him, and didn’t try to charge me an exorbant amount of money. He acted in my best interest, is well versed in his law, and was also communicative. I am so grateful that he represented me. I would suggest him to anyone.
