Customized, Responsive Legal Services My wife and I worked with Bill Pfeiffer, with the Pfeiffer Law Firm, from March through August, 2020 during the height of the Coronavirus pandemic. As in-person meetings with Bill were not practical for health reasons, Bill was able to conduct Zoom gatherings with us to discuss our varied legal needs relating to estate planning. Specifically, he drafted five documents for each of us: (1) Last Will and Testament, (2) Living Will, (3) Power of Attorney, (4) Designation of Health Care Surrogate, and (5) Appointment of Agent to Control Disposition of Remains. Plus, he guided us through a Memorandum of Wishes, which addressed certain items we desire to leave to our children. Bill listened to our desires, presented options to avoid thorny legal issues, and customized these documents to express our wishes, even though some of our desires were differed from the norm. Bill was also agreeable to my unusual request for a definition of certain legal terms, in writing and in Plain Language, so our two children could understand our intentions. This helped our understanding, as well. Bill took as much time as necessary in answering our questions clearly and offering us options, and never put his preferences first. In addition, he was amenable to working on a flat fee for our legal needs, rather than on an hourly rate, which put us at ease, as we addressed end of life and estate issues. My wife and I heartedly recommend the Pfeiffer Law Firm (DH).
