I had the pleasure of meeting Elias for the sale of an estate home. He was referred and highly recommended by our Real Estate Agents. As the seemingly smooth and routine sale detoured to a bumpy road to hell, Elias proved to be extremely helpful. Not only was he very knowledgeable, but he was very accessible and personable and went well beyond what the family could ever have expected of him. His rates are very fair and reasonable and I highly recommend his superb services.

My husband and I worked with Elias to put together estate planning documents and I would highly recommend working with him. We live in Manhattan, but went out to Queens to work with him and it was a great experience. He was very prompt to respond to our questions and had a very fast turnaround time. The process of putting the documents together with him was also a lot easier than other attorneys we spoke with who required multiple visits and high fees. Most importantly, he felt very trustworthy to work with and spent time explaining the purpose and need for the various documents, while also offering transparent and fair pricing.

Mr. Elias Malikouzakis was recommended by our realtors to handle the sale of our two-family house in Astoria. We had not sold a house before, so at our first meeting, Elias spent an hour explaining details of the entire process. He was friendly and approachable from the first; he treated us like real people and put no walls between us. And he was quite willing to conduct a sale with owners who lived several states away. During the three months between our meeting and the final closing, Elias was responsive at all times, including during a family vacation in July. When we had a problem or question about facts or figures, he was quick to respond with clarifications, by phone and e-mail. He worked straight through several weekends to solve potentially serious problems and to maintain continuity of the process, and was unfailingly polite and cheerful even as we were increasingly worried and fatigued. When we met Elias again at the final closing, he was pleasant and cheerful with us as if we had just seen him the day before. He was well prepared with paperwork and ready to redo any form that needed the smallest adjustment. He conducted the closing with good cheer and kept it on track to completion. We plan to keep in touch with Elias when we are in New York and we recommend him as a real estate attorney. He’s the top lawyer in our book.

The home buying process was definitely one of the most stressful experiences. But Elias definitely made it much easier and pleasant for me. He did not only care about the legal process, he was also helping me through out the whole process, from communicating with different lenders and insurance broker, to counseling me. He truly cares about my situation, my frustration with the process, and anything beyond his duties as my attorney. He always responded to my (and anyone’s) phone calls and emails within a few hours if not immediately, even during his vacation to Greece. He is very easy to talk to, yet professional and knowledgeable, and has given me so many valuable advice.
