Karen went above and beyond to help me prove my innocence during family court, as I was being falsely accused of many things. Given a very stressful situation, she helped ease my anxiety a bit, as she was very knowledgeable and I felt confident in her. Overall, she is an amazing lawyer, and also a genuine person. That being said, I would absolutely recommend Karen Svendsen. Karen, thank you for all of your help!

Divorce is hard, but a lot harder when you are a caring and supportive father who does not want to be away from your children. Karen helped me obtain a fair divorce in which custody and support were split evenly between both of us. This definitely took some effort to obtain. Overcoming the court’s bias towards the mother was difficult to overcome, but possible with Karen's guidance. Over the past 16 years, Karen has represented me three times, for my divorce, child support modification and child support termination request. Each time she has taken the time to provide me the best possible outcome. I highly recommend Karen and have recommended her to friends over the years.

Karen Svendsen is an excellent lawyer, her knowledge of the law is amazing. I had an attorney prior who for 2 years could not get my divorce finalized a Truly inept lawyer. I was referred to Karen who accomplished in 2 weeks, what he couldn’t do in 2 1//2 years. She has a key sense for what needs to be done, she is very attentive to her clients needs. Karen helped me and my daughters through a very difficult time. Divorce is never easy, but ours got ugly! Karen is extremely knowledgeable in all areas of divorce law and guided me through each step of the way, while helping me maintain my sanity! I hired Ms Svendsen in a child custody matter, pursuing residential custody of my child. It was an absolute pleasure to work Ms Svendsen, both during preliminary hearings and during the trial. She is extremely knowledgeable of the law, and was an excellent trial attorney. Her insight and quick thinking during the trial was astounding to watch. As a result of this, her persistence, and her honest desire for justice for my child and myself, we won our case. Additionally, Ms Svendsen provided honest answers about what she felt would and would not be successful during all of the proceedings, which was very much appreciated. We pursued avenues that had a possibility of a favorable outcome, and did not waste time on those that were likely to be unsuccessful. I would absolutely hire Ms Svendsen again, and have done so when necessary over the last 15 years.

Karen has done a terrific job handling my divorce settlement, she was able to explain and go over in detail all the components of the complex terminology in the documents. She was also readily available and answered any follow-up questions I had regarding alimony, child support, and custody issues.
