I have been a client of this firm since 2015. It has been a long, hard fight with Workman's Comp, Social Security Disability, and the NYS Pension System, but they stood beside me for the entire ordeal. Now that we are at the end of our journey, I would like to thank everyone there that have had to deal with my repeated calls, incessant questions, and me forgetting to mail back documents that I was supposed to sign. First, the Office workers, those dedicated people who are making the calls, processing the paperwork, manning the front windows, among all of their other unseen duties. I wish I could remember all of their names, but Jowan and Sassha come to mind. All of them were polite, professional, and kind. Thank you. You are the first faces most of us see, and a lot of communication is done through you. You are all the unsung, unseen heroes of this firm. Second, the many different lawyers and staff, such as Carol, David, and all of the others whose names I can't recall, who called me to update me on my status and showed up to every hearing for me. They kept me updated and explained every hearing to me before we went in. I really felt that I was being represented by a top notch staff. Thank you all. Finally, Ed Mcintyre. Sir, you are the best lawyer that I have ever had to interact with. Whenever I needed to reach out, Mr. Mcintyre was there. He either took my call immediately, or responded to a message with a minimal wait. Mr Mcintyre stood by my side throughout this long slog through a muddy legal system. Though we had never met before my accident, Ed treated me like I was the most important client his firm had and was so patient with me. I would absolutely, without hesitation, recommend this firm to anyone who is unfortunate enough to have to go through the New York State Workman's Compensation Board, Social Security Disability, and Disability Pension System. They fought hard and tirelessly to get me what I deserved.

Shirley Glickman has been extremely patient and helpful while assisting me. My doctor said they could not update my WC insurance carrier without the new contact information of my carrier, which was very confusing since I saw my doctor in April and there were no changes in my carrier’s information. Shirley worked with my doctor, much more patiently than I could have, and got the issue straightened out. It is very reassuring that your office has someone like Shirley to help put your clients at ease knowing she will do what she can to make these situations as painless and possible.

How much do you know about WC? I always thought it was a system set up by our government to protect we who work. HARDLY!!! The WC system is much more designed to protect the interests of the employer than the employee. The processes are frustrating and difficult to navigate. My representative, Norman Umana, showed concern and patience, knew how to protect my rights and address my concerns within the system and, in the end, produced a great result. My surgeon had said with my injury, everyone gets a 20% settlement. Norman was able to secure a 27% settlement. Your interests are his interest. McINTYRE and associates are professional, responsible, wise and effective.
