David Rubel helped me as a tenant in a dispute with my landlord. He handled the situation with a calm but firm demeanor which I believe is what ultimately helped to settle the issue- he didn’t go in guns blazing and make the situation worse. Not only was he knowledgeable in matters of the law but he was also able to read the room and communicate effectively with my landlord. I wish I had hired him sooner!

Went to David Rubel for a Will, healthcare proxy , power of Attorney and a Living Will. Attorney David Rubel was refered to me by another lawyer who did not handle social security cases. I said "what the heck" and called him up. I'm a skeptical individual but when I met attorney Rubel at his office, my skepticism was immediately vanquished. He was prepared to meet me in the middle of the covid 19 crisis with masks ready and disinfectant available to get down to business on my case. We applied for social security benifits and my initial application was denied ( I think as SSA routine) within two months. Mr Rubel and I quickly responded with an appeal of the decision and within four months I was granted my social security benefits. Attorney David Rubel was always extremely positive and knowledgeable. I always felt comfortable dealing with him and plan on dealing with him on any future legal matters he can assist my family and I with. I had "fun" chatting and visiting him during my routine visits to his office during my 7-8 month ordeal. In summing up, "I was looking for an attorney and I found a friend"!
