I will recommend Kristen Ferris to any of my brothers and sisters in the Armed Forces dealing with New York Family Law related matters. As soon as I retained her for representation, she quickly took control of a highly volatile, contested support modification action and ensured that I was treated fairly by the court. Because of her, my ex and I were able to come to an acceptable, mutual agreement due to the fact that Kristen understands New York Family Law and the parameters of appropriate support. She was able to help me while I am serving in a foreign country on the other side of the world. Her paralegal team is also excellent and responsive. Ms. Ferris is an absolutely outstanding attorney and I will definitely retain her services again for future issues.

Worse firm ive ever dealt with. Hire for a simple uncontested divorce. Neither the other party or myself wanted anything other then to sign the papers and be done with our marriage. Paid my retainer in full and was told this is all its going to be as the other party said they were paying for the divorce in writing. Hired this firm to make sure I am not getting screwed and that the paperwork was good to go. Got multiple emails saying I have an outstanding balance for writing the divorce papers which is not what they were hired for. No phone calls ever returned. No answers on the bill until I sent over 10 emails about the bill and the last one was to contact the BAR Association which they finally responded telling me they will correct the bill and resume the divorce process. Ive been dealing with lawyers for unrelated family court matters and this firm makes a terrible old lawyer I had look decent even after he was dis barred.

I retained Mr. Vetrano's law firm in 2017 to assist me in a post-divorce judgement of property distribution which my ex-wife refuses to part with. I was assigned Kristen Farris as my attorney. Mid-way through my case, my ex-wife decided to sue me for unpaid medical bills she claimed I failed to pay. So, I retain Kristen for this case, as well. Two cases. Two retainers. She told me she had a case similar to mine and she got it dismissed. I took that as a good sign, but was skeptical nonetheless. My ex-wife wanted $15k from me. At trial (this is my fourth trial with her), I made a last-minute offer to settle the case. Far lower than her asking, but reasonable. She refused. She wanted to testify and she wanted me in jail. On the stand, her testimony was flawed, unbelievable, and she was argumentative. Kristen objected to every piece of evidence and got most of it dismissed. She is a really effective trial attorney. We took numerous breaks throughout the day. Each break, my offer went down as her chances of winning went down (Deal or No Deal?). I finally offered her a grand to go away. No deal. She wanted me in jail. By end of day, the judge had enough. Between the bad evidence and an argumentative witness, she dismissed the case entirely. This was a huge win as this case was primarily brought to force my hand on the property case. It completely took the wind out of her sails and I only have Kristen to thank for it. Now we're back to the original case. I have a renewed confidence that Kristen will secure a win for me again. So, if you want a lawyer who's going to take your case, your money, never get back to you or keep you informed, only to have you lose, then hire another firm. If you want to hire a winner, then call this office and ask for Kristen. You won't be sorry. Oh, she has a hard-working team of assistants who'll give you the same dedication too. Shout out to Stacy and Erika!

From the jump, I should've gotten a lawyer closer to me. Going out to beacon was my 1st mistake. 2nd mistake was trusting my lawyer hole heartedly.. The firm said that they were placing calls to my phone#, I received no such calls. I missed 2court sessions, and I had no idea what, how, or why.. The lawyer was fairly new, I can tell he wasn't that much hands on. Especially since I had no clue, I've never been to court in such a magnitude as divorce.. They used up all my retainers, and then called me difficult and no communication, that our relationship was broken down.. WOW! They priority mailed me documents submitted to the court to be released... They didn't do anything on my case, even the judge was wondering why nothing was done. Anyway The judge told me that I needed a new lawyer, which was was extremely difficult due to the fact that Vetrano cleaned me out.. I had to borrow money from someone who loans money 😔now I'm Close to my home, I have a new lawyer. He got more done in 3 visits, than D.V. did in the months that they represented me. What a costly mistake 💸💸💸💸💸💸💸💸💸💸💸💸💸💸💸💸💸💸I can't believe that I spent so much money for absolutely nothing in return.... DO YOUR HOMEWORK PEOPLE, NEVER USE AN ATTORNEY FAR FROM YOUR HOME. MAKE SURE YOUR LAWYER IS UP TO THE TASK AND THAT HIS FIELD OF EXPERIENCE IS WHAT YOU NEED.. OH, IF THEY DONT CALL YOU, PLEASE CALL THEM AND GET ALL THE INFORMATION THAT YOU CAN AND AS QUICKLY AS YOU CAN... They charge for everything 💸💸💸 MY STUPIDITY, YOU CAN'T EVEN BUY TRUST THESE DAYS! Hey they are probably good at other aspects of the law, or D.V. is good at divorce. The lawyer that he assigned to me was to young and divorce wasn't his strong suit..
