Ava Gutfriend, when I hear of, speak of or merely think of that name in my mind it is a name that is equivalent to (Caring, Courteous, Excellence, Dependable, Focused, Hard Working, Honest, Knowledgeable, Loyal, Passionate, Respectful, Responsive and Trustworthy). Ava is an attorney that truly cares about the cases she takes on and believes in the clients she chooses to represent. Ava's character, knowledge and professionalism far exceeds any of the of the lawyers I've chosen to represent me in the past and those whom I've come in contact with throughout my experiences with the family court system. My name is Albert French and I became a client of Ava Gutfriend in 2013 after my seven year old twin children reported to me that they were being Mistreated, Neglected and Sexually Assaulted by their mother and her live in boyfriend. As you can imagine after hearing such horrific news my one and only thought was to remove my children from this toxic environment as soon as possible. While I did not retain Ms Gutfriend's service,I was very impressed with expertise and phenomenal knowledge of the law. Her willingness to go that extra mile and excellent response time on questions you might have places her above many in the same field. By saying this I was totally prepared to handle my own case. I highly recommend her services to anyone who needs a great lawyer.

She is the real deal, very upfront once she knows the details of your situation. If you decide to select her, she will do everything possible to help you. Very professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly , caring.

I've hired Ms. Gutfriend for my custody case although its been a short period of time I was impressed with her representation on the first court date. Very knowledgeable on Family law would definitely recommend her.

While I did not actually retain Ms. Gutfriend's services I was extremely pleased. I had a custody/visitation suit and she was well informed on the matters. Ava was great in her response time and really went the extra mile to meet with me, explain things, and offer another perspective. If I ever wind up in the Bronx again, I know who I'm going to call!
