Mr. Rogers was straight forward and very candid about the expected outcome of my case. My case was particularly challenging because my tenants had a five year automatically renewable lease.. (LINC tenants). I brought my case to Mr. Rogers November and the case was settled in early January. And tenants was out by the 15th of February. I couldn't be more satisfied. Great lawyer, efficient service, willing to go the extra mile for his client.

Mr. Rogers provided outstanding service and was willing to accommodate my particular needs. Mr. Rogers maintained communication with me regarding my case and updated me with details expeditiously. Mr Rogers is extremely effective and efficient; he knows real estate law and more importantly the housing laws, and court systems. On a scale of 1 to 5 he is a 10; well worth the money. I will forever appreciate what he did for me and my family. He restored peace and harmony to my home of 40+ years after I rented apartments to the tenants from hell!! Thank you Mr. Rogers.

This is a little lengthy – but well worth it! Take my advice… I had a house intestate with my brothers for close to 30 years. Yes, 30 years!!!! Being that none of us agreed on any one thing, it seemed easier to let time go by than confront each other. It was gut wrenching to have a conversation with my brothers regarding how to divide ‘the house’. We couldn’t come to terms and were torn apart over it. Mr. Rogers was recommend to me from a Real Estate agent who I met at church. She said, “when you first meet him, he seems a little rough around the edges but he is an excellent lawyer”. Hmm, I didn’t know what this meant. On my 1st meeting with Mr. Rogers, I understood what she meant. Mr. Rogers was upfront and blunt about my situation explaining to me different case scenarios. Being that dividing and discussing the property was something I dreaded to face, Mr. Rogers said, “Trust me. I’ve been doing this for a long time and will have your best interest”. I was reluctant at first, then came to my senses and acknowledged that I knew nothing about legal matters or how to unravel the pretzel my family and I were in. So I trusted him (of course, asking questions along the way) and took his advice. This has been one of the smartest things I’ve done. I really wish I had gone to him 30 years earlier. Dealing with the house was tearing my family apart. Finally, with Mr. Roger’s expert advice, professionalism, just and fair fee, not only did we settle, but my family and I have remained on speaking terms. Unfortunately, during this time, I lost one brother to cancer but I am grateful for the outcome that helped keep my family intact. My husband and I were in the process of purchasing a short sale property. Evan made sure that our contract protected our interest. Most importantly he recoverrd our $10,00 down payment and rescued us from purchasing a property that had violations that would have cost thousands to correct. Attorney Evan Rogers completed my Aunt Dale's estate without cost for the initial case evaluation and two dozen emails (I am out of state). He didn't have to; but was concerned about me and handled the consultation professionally anyway. Evan completed the probate by successfully; filing all necessary paperwork with the Bronx Surrogate's Court, State of New York, and even handled the bonded issue... seamlessly. He is now working on another probate connected to me, and I will certainly have Evan manage my estate account.
Let me be clear: I trust Evan and his staff. He is honest. He is far more than competent,and his professionalism is to be judged at the highest level.

My wife and I are a young couple who both come from nothing and are trying our best to make a life for ourselves in this rough city. With the little money that we saved up, we decided to invest in a couple of 2 family homes in the Bronx. However, because we are young and inexperienced, people are always looking to take advantage of us. We thought we were lucky to purchase a property with tenants already in the house. This sounded like a great idea because the property was already producing income. However, this purchase turned out to be our worst nightmare. Not only did the tenants destroy this beautiful gut renovated property with wood floors and stainless steel appliances but they would call 311 constantly to make false complaints about stealing electricity, no heat, no water and so on.
We first tried to evict them our selves by going down to the court house on our own. This turned out to be a big mistake since New York is a pro tenant state and make it almost impossible for you to evict a tenant on your own. Then, we found a lawyer on Craigslist who basically stole our money. They lost the case and still charged us. I was unlucky enough to have tenants who knew the legal system better than this lawyer. Finally, we were at the Dept of Buildings answering one of these fictitious complaints that one of the tenants made and was talking to a fellow landlord about how screwed up this system is. He told us that he was in the same exact situation but found this lawyer named Mr. Rogers who was helping him out. He sounded pretty sincere so I took the phone number and set up an appointment.
I'm writing this review because Mr. Rogers has made my nightmare come to an end. Not only did he get them out, but he got them out fast. He knows the system inside and out and if you are in bad situation like I was were the tenants have been evicted before and know the system, then you better call this man immediately. His services are reasonable and he's always available to answer any questions. Best part about him is that he's up to date with the times. He will even take a credit card payment on the spot through his cell phone in case you have an emergency and need to retain his services if your in bind like I was.
