I live in California but my elderly parents live in Brooklyn. I looked up the best Elder law attorney in NY and found Inna Fershteyn based on her excellent 5 star rating. We had initial estate planning consultation on the phone with my parents and Inna prepare entire package of documents for my parents and executed it with them in person with me overseeing everything over zoom within 1 week. We prepared a trust package with Revocable living trust, transferred their Brooklyn home into the trust and did healthcare proxies and power of attorney for both parents. After this was done we worked on Mediciad Application and Pooled income trust for my parents as they are both in dire need of home care aid and need 24 hour live-in assistant to be with them as I am so far away. The first part of the process literally took 1 week with Inna recording the deed into the trust on the same day it was executed in her office. We are now awaiting Medicaid application and pooled income trust to go through and expect it to all be done before October 1st medicaid change deadline. I recommend Inna Fershteyn’s entire office highly.

During difficult COVID-19 times I was very worried that we have absolute nothing done to protect our minor child and we need a will or a trust in case something happens with both my husband and I to at least appoint a Guardian for my minor child. Law office of Inna Fershteyn was highly recommended to us by several friends and when we looked up all the reviews and video commentaries about her office we knew we were in good hands. Inns and her paralegal were very helpful and went over each step of estate planning and difference between trust and will and how will probate in NY works. We opted out to do a Living Trust as well as healthcare proxy and power of attorney and also appointed Guardian for our minor child. Because of the quarantine Inna only had 1 client come in at the time to her office and was extremely careful how she met with us- behind a plexiglass and wearing a mask and gloves. We felt not just very safe with her as a lawyer but also as a person. Inna is a wonderful legal professional and we hope to remain friends and clients of her office if we ever need any legal advise for a long time. We recommend her highly.

Inna Fershteyn and her law office deserve more than 5 stars for the way she treats her clients and she provides pro-bono services when needed. 2 little girls lost both their mother (on mother's day!) and their father a year before. When Inna found out about this, she immediately immobilized her resources and her community connections and met with family (on this picture here) and friends and older brother of these 2 little girls. Pro-bono she created extensive Estate Planning and Guardianship documents for the girls including Irrevocable Trust so girls could get funds from fundraising events Inna organized and chaired. Go Fund Me page was set up (to which Inna contributed funds as well) and Law Office of Inna Fershteyn functioned as a main hub for not just all communication but also for checks and fund donation. Inna was instrumental in securing significant funds for the 2 little orphans future. She is not just a wonderful attorney but also a carrying human being.

When I came to Inna's office, I wanted to help my grandparents create their elder plan. Inna was very helpful, and gave great advice on which documents should be executed in their elder plan. In a matter of a few weeks, my grandparents had their elder plan created. I would recommend Inna's office to anybody because she knows what she is doing, and that shows. Thanks to Inna, my grandparents now have an elder plan. I have to honestly say Inna’s law office is the best elder care law office in New York.

Inna was wonderful & very professional . She was able to simplify the process of estate planning and healthcare proxy procedures. It can be quite daunting trying to sort through documents & legal jargon. However Inna was able to simplify the process. I will surely consult with her in the future for any other legal matters. INNA was very attentive to detail. Highly recommended and an active member of the community. She goes above and beyond for her clients. I now became a guardian of both of my sisters but the issue was how can we make sure that the funds that the girls were receiving due to generosity of our community would be preserved for the girls until the are adults and how can they be eligible for government benefits and not lose any help from the government. At this point we were very lucky as Inna Fershteyn and her wonderful law office stepped in to help. She met with me and my aunts and set up a Trust for the girls totally FREE of charge. She did it very quickly and cancelled her other clients to accommodate our schedule. She even brought financial planner to help us- also free of charge. She promised to be there and guide us along the way if we have any issues and problems later on. She does a lot of charity works with orphanages and it was a gift from above that she was available to help us. We can not thank her enough.

Inna Ferahteyn is an amazing human who cares deeply about well-being of the poorest members of our extended global community. I went on a life-changing mission to Tikva Odessa orphan children home with her and saw how she dedicated her time and her fundraising efforts to not only raising funds for this orphan home but also took her time to personally buy supplies and play and feed the infants. She is dedicated, compassionate and kind. Recommend her highly.
