Mark & Josh Cossuto handled my challenging case in Richmond County so expertly that it was FULLY dismissed!! They were able to ensure that I avoided major issues down the line but I know that if we had to continue the fight, the firm would have remained by my side and fought for the best possible outcome. As a legal professional myself, I have the utmost respect for this legal team. They care about their clients (even very demanding ones with lots of questions, like me :) ), communicate regularly, know the courts/prosecutors/judges, act ethically and are very well respected. In fact, I overheard a sergeant at the courthouse call Mark Cossuto "royalty" and saw him give Mark an affectionate pat on the back. This was absolutely the scariest mistake and time of my life but I now have my life back thanks to this firm and their hard work and dedication!!! If you're in trouble, this is your legal team!

I want to thank the law firm of Shulman & Hill and the staff. Especially my attorney Mr. Evan R. Levtow! He did a fantastic job on my trial in every way, which was outstanding. My case was one of the most complicated due to the previous attorney's mistake and negligence from a different law firm. But Mr. Levtow was able to handle and resolve any issue that appeared on our way! He is the most educated, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and experienced attorney ever! During the process, he explained every step properly and worked very hard to win my case. I have never met an attorney like him who gives all his efforts to his clients. After running into a really stressful immigration situation regarding my husband we reached out to this Law firm and were pleasantly surprised at the level of care we received. Unsatisfied after the fact All went well during the process but apparently didn’t file my property paperwork correctly. When I reached out to him for guidance and help to straighten out issue, he dismissed me and said he did everything right (with attitude I must say). This attorney use to have in office in MT Vernon NY then disappeared one day. Apparently he did not file the necessary papers or proper actions to have the continued payments on my mortgage recorded after the mortgage account was included in Bankruptcy paperwork. I’ve been told by the courts and chase mortgage that he was to reaffirm the mortgage since the mortgage was an account I would continue paying. I did and paid off the entire loan and now there is no record of Al my years with the mortgage and the fact that it’s paid off in my credit reports. I’ve been told the mortgage account records were included in the bankruptcy. It’s been enough years now that the bankruptcy is gone from ny records but unfortunately so is a positive mark in my credit history of a 15 year long mortgage and fully paid off mortgage. It’s been a struggle to get this straightened out but told by chase they can’t put back on my reports since it’s paid off and the agencies say they have no control over putting something on “only off”. Not saying he is bad but just be careful and I wouldn’t use again. Thank God I have no intentions of dealing with bankruptcy again.

If you need an estate lawyer, look no further than Judy Mock. I’ve dealt with many lawyers in the past and Judy is a needle in a haystack. You won’t find a lawyer like her these days as she is professional, attentive to detail, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares for her clients. Lawyers can be overwhelming with all these legal “terms” but every time I talk with Judy, I walk away confident about what needs to be done. The hardest part of any client is the “waiting game”. Not with Judy, she will always get back to you promptly. She restores my faith that there are good lawyers out there in NY.
