I found Mark and Josh looking at reviews and I decided to hire their firm to defend me in my DWI case. Both are very profesional and know what they do in this field. Unsatisfied after the fact All went well during the process but apparently didn’t file my property paperwork correctly. When I reached out to him for guidance and help to straighten out issue, he dismissed me and said he did everything right (with attitude I must say). This attorney use to have in office in MT Vernon NY then disappeared one day. Apparently he did not file the necessary papers or proper actions to have the continued payments on my mortgage recorded after the mortgage account was included in Bankruptcy paperwork. I’ve been told by the courts and chase mortgage that he was to reaffirm the mortgage since the mortgage was an account I would continue paying. I did and paid off the entire loan and now there is no record of Al my years with the mortgage and the fact that it’s paid off in my credit reports. I’ve been told the mortgage account records were included in the bankruptcy. It’s been enough years now that the bankruptcy is gone from ny records but unfortunately so is a positive mark in my credit history of a 15 year long mortgage and fully paid off mortgage. It’s been a struggle to get this straightened out but told by chase they can’t put back on my reports since it’s paid off and the agencies say they have no control over putting something on “only off”. Not saying he is bad but just be careful and I wouldn’t use again. Thank God I have no intentions of dealing with bankruptcy again.
